Last Few Nails Being Tapped Into Arry’s Coffin

Good morning.

The beats of the jungle drums are gently building. And I’m not talking about  ‘Summertime’ by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince being blasted out of cheap cars by gentlemen without shirts on at traffic lights.

From Jasper on Spurs Odious:

We all know they want rid of him! We all know they are frustrated with him!

We all know he cacked up the Hazard deal in January when we could of done a pre-contract agreement.

We all know it was the board who forced Ade on him as he wanted Carlton Cole, push for the Drog which was not realistic and much more.

We all know he suggest we sign Rio and J Cole who would fill modders boots.

We all know that he is a cack man-manager, and half the squad if not more do not rate or get on with him.

We all know certain international players at the club cannot believe how clueless he is, and his old school f’ing and blinding at players is not working….

Is all this fiction, the worked of a fevered and jealous mind? I don’t believe so for a minute. It sounds all to damn plausible. This is the man who turned his nose up at Suarez. Not Suarez the play acting racist, but Suarez the gem of the Eredivisie.

This is the guy who has traded on luck and misrepresented to the world as talent. Modric? I’m convinced that Arry has an identical relationship with him as he had with Pav. The difference being that Modric knows what to do and doesn’t really need managing. Which is a genuine bonus if your coach is Arry.

The only players that ‘respect him’ are those with enough savvy to realise the insanity of falling out with a guy who could yet make or break their career. Think Kyle, think Jake. Or those that want license to do what they want. Think Bale.

Rio, Joe Cole, Cartoon Cole? Anyone who thinks this is made up or unbelievable probably still sends letters to Father Christmas.

This is the man that actually sat in front of the world’s press as our Champions League aspirations were coursing down the u bend and out into the North Sea; and announced he wanted to sign Tevez.

Yes, when he come [sic] here we only had two points from eight games. Yes he’s delivered three of our best end of season finishes since 1704. But this is a man who allowed his vanity to devour him and has has cost us millions.

This is a man who took one of the sexiest squads in the league and turned it into a house of cards. This is the house that cack built.

What a load of bollocks!!!! that is all

  • Rupert, in support of Arry says:

Got to be careful what you wish for, especially when someone like AVBs name in banded about.
Harry/misfortune of events meant we didn’t get CL but we are progressing every year, now that the England job is gone surely Harry will get some decent money to spend, he’s got us 4th on a shoe string this year, a few clever acquisitions this summer to support first XI and we’ll get at least 4th next season.
You cannot want rid of Arry on speculation from some tripe blog. VDV King Kaboul BAE Ade have all come out in support of Arry and saying they’re glad he didn’t get the Eng job

  • Spurs tough says:

The problem is we DON’T KNOW any of this! What we DO KNOW is that we have finished 4,5,4 in the last three seasons.

  • DVC says:

I think Harry should be replaced by our dear departed Mr Ramos. I am fed up with fourth place, lets get back to the bottom three.

  • Dougster says:

if you guys are half the fans you say you are you would get behind Harry, put yourself in his shoes and instead of constantly asking for his head, give some constructive criticism as to what you would change.
And if he were to go – AVB – what an absolute joke as a replacement? The guy who at Chelsea was crying because the players didn’t celebrate the goals with him.
Harry has had to go out and do some deals on shoestring budgets compared to other managers.
Instead of critising him for the odd transfer which he let slip, or more like that Levy wouldn’t pay for, look at his record at bringing in good value transfers a la parker, ade, friedel etc.
I didn’t hear you moaning a few months ago when spurs were challenging for the title so give the guy some respect, time and then judge.

Before I criticise anyone, I always put myself in their shoes… that way I am a mile away, and they’re barefoot… bum bum… I’m here all week

Dougster – I think most fans have spent the entire season trying to suggest ways we can become more tactically astute but be were subjected to the same game plan week in week out regardless of opponent, you’d never see a Mourinho or Ferguson doing this even with the great teams they have managed.
You mention deals on shoestring budgets, who do you think does all the deals for Spurs!? Our chairman, Redknapp suggests targets and the chairman sanctions moves and does the deal, although he has bought in players himself (Ade, VDV).
What was not acceptable this year is that we flew out of the blocks (from the 3rd game on) and were challenging the Manchester clubs BUT a lack of experience at this level and rotation (lets not mention Eng or the court case) cost us massively. Theres an interesting part in G Nevilles book where he describes how Sir Alex knows his team for games up to 2 months in advance, because he knows exactly what tactics/formation/game plan is needed to win against that team, so when we are told that “I just let the players go out and play and enjoy it” It really doesnt fill with confidence, when have you ever seen Redknapp make a sub in the first 30mins when he realises he’s got his tactics wrong and needs to adjust ala Mourinho?
Footballers need direction/tactics/management and confidence 1 out of 4 just isnt good enough.

      Here’s some constructive criticism…

1.Our corners are crap and they have been for years.

      2. When leading 2-0 at the Emptycrates, your asking for trouble if you then sit back and try to defend.

      3.Rotation.

      4. When needing a goal against a very poor Villa, you don’t take off an attacker and put on a defensive player.

      The list could go on.

All of the above are things that needs to be addressed.

      • SerfCity says:

        5. Player progression has languished. Few players are truly better now than they were when they arrived, and many have nosedived.

        • jerkinmahjurgen says:

          1. Many more years than Redknapp can be blamed for.
          2. Maybe a fair point. My stream was crap and I didn’t find the motivation to study the game.
          3. And how many games did our players play? Up to 40? If that? Crap. How many cup games did we play last year? Did the 1st team play them? Really. You think they were over-played?
          4. Villa could’ve gone down. That’s what we were up against. That was a crazy day. Never before has so much still to be decided on the last day. I’m naturally disappointed at the result but if there is an axe to grind, it’s not because of this. Vdv’s fitness is an issue. Parker isn’t just defensive. He can tackle, yes, but sometimes he carries the ball forward as well as or even better than Modric. Fkr we failed but 4th should be enough. That’s the bitch.
          5. What? Give examples. Walker’s on the up. Parker back in England squad, and was captain… Livermore’s getting praise as is Sandro. Not to mention Ade’s profile this year. Quite a few have had big injury problems – Gallas, King, Hudds, Daws, Lennon… Caulker’s doing ok. Carrol and even Lancaster got some time out there. Bale, Modric still coverted by the big clubs. Look at Bales’ stats. And Ades’. Our home record. Our away record… Stop the whinging. Only 3 teams in England were better than us.
