More Corners Than A Müller Light Factory

Good afternoon.

Where to begin? Well Aston Villa are yet another side we’ve encountered this season who aren’t exceptional at playing football, but they are blatantly better managed than us since Arry, ‘went wrong’ on us.

The away support was as ever, so excellent and the Villans might want to stop a while and ponder just who they need to direct their angst at. I get the frustration; but had we played you before the, ‘England’ fiasco we would’ve probably thumped you.

Bale is giving everyone a migraine. He returns a pass then pings off centrally for the next slice of the action. Which 99% of the time never ensues.

Kyle Walker needs managing. These Forest Gump runs are producing little and defensively he’s looking like a part timer.

Danny Rose’s red wasn’t only deserved, I glad it happened as even someone as blinkered as Arry can’t deny he’s actually thicker than Baldrick.

The icing on the time expired cake of course was the Cagney death scene of Arry working out what to do substitute wise. He had Defoe ready to come on. Then Ade scored the pen and so he then hesitated further before swapping Rafa for …Parker.

Which only serves to show how genuinely clueless the man is. We’re well beyond, ‘a point would be alright’ territory. Well beyond. But that’s what that sub meant.

I lost count of the corners we won. We scored from a penalty. Go figure. Coaching?

Player ratings etc in the am.

Agree re. the ‘substitution’. If it made sense to bring Defoe on at 0-1, why not at 1-1. At least have a go with 15min left. Harry seemingly content with a point, banking on Bayern to beat Chelsea. Even with 10 we should have won today and gone above the Arse, though having said that, once again we barely created a clearcut chance. Corners a complete waste of time, crosses too for that matter.
    Very disappointed.

…….said already the other week…Arrys taken a fat bung from the Woolwich Wanderers to make sure he phux up our season and hands the Arse 3rd spot!!! Czunt is as bent as a 3 pond note!

our dear leader betraying his lack of ambition. club motto : “audere est facere”, HR clearly disagrees

    Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp:

“We dominated the second half but we couldn’t get the second goal. It’s all to play for next week there are so many permutations.

“If we’d won today we’d have taken Newcastle and Chelsea out of the equation so we wanted three points but you can’t always have what’s ideal.

“Once you go down to 10, five minutes into the second half, you’ll take a point all day long. I thought we put a real shift in I couldn’t have asked for any more.”

what an idiot. if he can’t do the very basic maths to figure out that a point is of absolutely zero value to us, regardless of the permutations, he shouldn’t be the manager.

sorry old chap, next week if the goons draw and we win, that point will put us in third, on the other hand three points would have had us just needing a win regardless of what they do.

But if we had lost today the goons would only need a draw next week to get third, now they need a win to guarantee that.

shit result today, winnable game against a poor side but after rose showed his studs a point was better than I expected at that time

You’re right. And i retract. Partially.

Still – A point is helpful in the situation where next week arsenal draw and we win by exactly one goal (assuming going forward means we lose by a goal today). The number of scenarios in which 3 points today would be critical is far greater – the opportunity cost of playing for a draw is massive.

At 1-1 with us on top and villa trying basically nothing (despite their numerical advantage) it’s beyond moronic to wait until the 87th min… and then bring on Scott Parker… for our player most likely to score. I does my head in.

  • Simon says:

Disappointing result for sure, but coming back from one down with ten men is a decent effort, even against a poor team.

Fulham won’t be easy, but win that and I still think we get third.

  • Matt shorter says:

Do you actually support spurs HH? This is a serious question

    • picasosdog says:

its ok to support and still have a contrary opinion last i checked we are not under taliban rule

      • Matt shorter says:

Your right, but does it help? I couldn’t sit there and constantly slate the life out of spurs. We’re in 4th place 1 point of 3rd and yet people come on this site to slate us, it’s beyond me.

        • Hartley says:

          I’m a roofer, I slate everything…… :-p

        • Harry Hotspur says:

Matt you’re entitled to an opinion, but I kinda switch off when self imposed victims of brain washing rear their ‘hooraah!’ heads.

Let me share a small secret, a secret so fucking simple even a schmuck like you could, with out the aid of your carer could grasp it…

          This is online.

          This is people talking.

Check my archive. I don’t routinely enjoy home matches anymore because of the jaundiced negativity that exists there. When I go to games I want to scream, shout, sing and support to my last breath. Away fans have it nailed.

The expats and foreign supporters make my heart sing with their dedication.

Online I will not tolerate being policed by bed wetters like you.

You want to clap happy? Buy a damn ticket and do it in the flesh, but please, spare the rest of us the, ‘patience’ routine.

          You’re dull. Go away.

    • Top Tottys says:

…yeah…phuk off with such a stoopid question….personally i think Arrys a complete tactrical phukkin lemon and needs to phuk off now!
bringing on Scotty instead of Defoe with 3 minutes left??? what a c un t!!!!

  • Geordiespur says:

We are all over them but unfortunately Adebayor can only hit a barn door when it is put on a plate for him & VDV is knackered. We are desperate for a goal that will take us third. What to do…..hmmmmm???
I know we’ll take off VDV, who although is knackered could still nick a goal, and bring on a class defensive player who I love dearly but unfortunately will not score the goal we crave so much.
Good tactical work Harry, I am still scratching my head as to why Hodgson was picked over you for England.
