I see this Emmanuel Frimpong Twitter thing is still kicking about and it needs a line drawing under it.
The Arsenal player responded to a negative Tweet with equal force in my book and whilst it wasn’t clever to reply as he did it’s unfair and a rather desperate move to manipulate matters in an attempt to slap a charge of racism on him.
The whole ‘Y word debate is tedious. The only two people care about it, one is THFC and you can understand that a company of their size doesn’t want to be associated with anything vaguely controversial.
The second is the ponce David Baddiel who as a Jew is clearly tormented by the fact that he supports a club with so many openly racist supporters.
Frimpong is only guilty of being a a bit mentally subnormal. He punctuates every sentence with the word ‘Dench’ and famously told viewers live on Soccer Am that he was, ‘soft for the ladies and hard with the men.’
I heard he recently had an anus transplant, but the anus rejected him.

Any attempt by Tottenham fans to make this an issue of racism is foolhardy, it will strengthen Baddiel’s irrelevant crusade against our own use of the word. Frimpong is a total nob, this goes without saying, but he was clearly using the word to mean ‘Tottenham Fan’ not ‘Jew’.
As a Yid, I’m more ashamed of what was aimed at Frimpong. Wishing injuries on rival players is pretty scummy, so good on Frimpong.

There was a time when sneering ‘Yid’ at someone was not only designed to be offensive but succeeded.
I can’t speak for the ponce David Baddiel, but these days it’s a word that actually holds a sense of belonging and fraternity about it.
Many Spurs fans routinely refer to Arsenal as ‘the scum’ and themselves as part of the ‘Yid Army’ so it makes zero sense to be offended.
Where there is a very sinister difference is with Chelsea. When they use the word Yid it is done so with hate and all about trying to rekindle the atmosphere of the Battle of Cable St.

‘Good on frimpong’ and ‘totally with frimpong’ on this….There are certain “footballers” who rather than doing their talking with their feet on the field of play spend as much time as possible talking absolute bollocks on their twitter feeds, Frimpong is one of these and one of the worst along with Wilshere and Luzhny from Le Ar5e….They know the score and it is only expected that from time to time they will wind a rival supporter up the wrong way…..’Good on Frimpong’ WTF…BIOYC!
