For me he is gone. We cannot have “his head in the wrong place” for a second consecutive year. Unfortunately that will weaken our bargaining position because everybody will know that we want him out. In any event he is only worth £27.5m tops. I’d keep the little git on the bench until 31st August then take the £25m that seems to be the only offer in town.

I could have sworn he effectively went on strike when we played manure at the beginning of last season. A game that had we got a point from, would have taken us 3rd and into his beloved CL.
