Well I guess today is all about ‘that picture’. Once the hysteria subsides there are a few questions to be asked.

AVB has come out with the statement that he was visiting Sandro who is obviously with the Brazil Olympic Squad. Mystery Solved. I think we get Ade in and maybe/hopefully llorente and we can then have Defoe/Coubilaly/Kane as back ups. Particularly excited about the young Ivorian. Apparently played really well last night as did young Falque :)

Impatient
H, I know this isn’t the thread but I’m getting impatient. This is not because of the direction we’re going – I like that – but the speed. Surely there is already a fair sized ar chest – after all, we’ve offloaded Crouch, Palacios, Pav, Charlie and Kranc. We’ve only brought in Sig and Vert. It’s time for a couple of strikers and a Modders replacement. Also, I want to believe that AVB knows what he’s doing but offering Bentley a new start is a mistake – i’d like to see him, Jenas, Bassong and even Thud moved on.
AVB is unlikely to just come in and name the players he wants shot of immediately, that would turn the others against him it would be like me saying all the posters on this blog are Tossers.
A little diplomacy is required, he will weed out the dross in time and will have replacements lined up, too many fans are impatient but with 6 weeks left DL and AVB will get the right blend of youth and experience.
