Good evening.

This from the Official Site. The Olympique Lyonnais Official Site, that is. This was published at a minute after 2000hrs this evening.

In short the statement says that the proposal submitted tonight by Spurs is significantly different to a proposal that was agreed in principle four days ago.

To my mind this smacks of everybody, not just Tottenham playing chicken on these transfer deals. The first guy to blink loses.

The Dembele deal is a good example. Not a single ITK had a sniff of it. Because the price was quoted and Spurs told that was the price. Not an opening a price, but that only two bids would be entertained.  A bid at the figure on the swing ticket …or a bid in excess of that figure.

  • Levy costs us another season says:

So Levy costs us another much needed player.

All you Levy lovers need to wake up. He agrees a deal then tries to lower the fee already agreed. 15m for a world class keeper and he thinks that’s too pricey?
He has already fucked up deals for Willian and Mouthinho by expecting to get them for 10m less than the asking price.

Those waiting for a deadline deal for Llorente need to get real. They are asking 27m so we will offer 17m and wonder why we don’t get him.

Levy can fuck off. Tries to con us every window, makes loads on selling players then spends bare minimum to replace. Top four? Hahahaha.

And before the bumboys start defending him, the 4 signings we have made are average at best, Siggy is a squad player , Ade is lazy and a poor finisher, Dembele has had one good game in 2 seasons and Vert is the best of a bad bunch.

We will never finish top four again with that prick in charge.

    • the man!! says:

Yeah not anymore since arry is gone!

    • `rich g says:

Another idiot, i suppose it was DLs fault we didnt make top four last year???? . Stop crying little children, this isnt FIFA on the X box, go and ask mummy for another rusk and get daddy to turn off SSN and put C beebies back on. Total bellends

      • Thepin says:

Point of order Rich – we did make the top four last season.

On Levy cost us another season: ‘Five’ Dembeles – one good game in 2 seasons? Vert is the best of a bad bunch?

        Go away!

    • Harry Hotspur says:

      You sir, are an imbecile.

  • the man!! says:

Via google translate: Olympique Lyonnais informs not have reached an agreement with Tottenham for the transfer of Hugo Lloris. Proposals submitted by Tottenham tonight are significantly distant from the main

  • `rich g says:

And another point, whats all this” hes trying to con us” bollix, why would he try to con you?, are you a shareholder? what part of the club do you own? how are you being conned? because you shoot your silly mouths off about signing players, then look like total twats? thats your fault, you are conning yourselfs. Just get behind the Team and the manager, and the Chairman whos taken us from midtable, to consistently challenging for the top four.GET A FUCKING DOSE OF REALITY

    • Thepin says:

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there RG.

There are dipsticks out there that stake their rep on the big names, then get all diva-ish when it falls through, thereby making them look like big shiny bell-ends to their mates. They will save fa if it’s Levy’s fault.

  • Hhitkmyarse says:

Last season levy spent £6m on Parker, got brad on a free, ade loan fee, sold crouch, willy,Keane and pav £31m, season before bought vdv pienaar, khumalo all for £12m but with £25m champs league money, this window got in £50m spent £38m, £12m difference ( just what we offered for will.i.am Coincidence think not) levy playing A blinder gets bale to sign new contract gets avb to sign, and won’t spend a penny ( net ) the point about he’s trying to con us is we are being told the new stadium won’t affect transfers etc, he’s playing another blinder with us

    • Habib says:

I suppose you paid the salary increases that now account for 60% of our revenue and built the 45M pound training ground? Arm chair accountants

      • Hhitkmyarse says:

60% still way below must clubs, training ground paid over 10 years not 3, what about £35m+ a year from sky, £20m+ from season tickets other match day revenue, under armour deal biggest ever, shirt sponsorship biggest ever, merchandising, etc etc etc…….. Arm chair what..

        • Hhitkmyarse says:

by the way hh posted article £15m-£20m available after TOTAL exbenditure

        • Thepin says:

Spending money for sake of it? Let’s look at a case study:

Liverpool have £50 mill waved at them by a desperate Russian gangster for the magic beans that are Torres. They chuck £35 mill of that at the Geordies for a Clydesdale horse – Why? Because he was the finished article? because he was World class? No, because they had a load of cash lying around and they thought they had to spend it.

Consequence: Breakingnews – Andy Carroll joins West Ham n Loan for the season, 18 months after moving to Anfield. £35 mill down the swanney

OF the ‘close to £100 mill’ that Liverpool spent in the last two seasons, all of it is sitting on the bench now under Rodgers, except the racist.

If you want an expample closer to home, we could look at the mysterious case of the missing Bentley?

Levy will not risk several seasons of mediocrity, and irrepairable damage to the brand/business/franchise (whatever turns him on) by punting all our money on one messiah. We should rejoice in this, as in recent seasons it has meant we have shown steady, and consistent progress, and relative success in the most competitive league in World Football.

As I say to my tortured Gooner foe, when they laugh at our CL mis-fortune, “I’d rather be on the way up, than on the way down”.

  • Dorset Spurs says:

Well, I’ve got meds ready for today.
