just got back from game, second half performance much better than 1st, once ***** went off moods improved all round but we’re not looking a slick team in the final 3rd
some observations:
jan the man reminds me of Ronald Keoman at his peak, classy player who could play in midfield with ease
harry kane is a kid, not ready for this level
avb looks like he wants to play 5 in the middle 1 up front hence defoe & kane had no time together???
we in the sh*t big time with our front line, if levy and avb think our current options will get top 4 they’re deluded, we look solid enough in defence but midfield looks very poor without modrat, we created two or three chances against a mediocre championship team in 90 mins and bar defoe’s goal he didn’t get a look in all the time he was on the pitch.
I’ve never been to away game where our support was so quiet, you can sense they know something is seriously wrong but no one seems to want to mention the elephant in the room
we ended the game with 3 wingers on the pitch unless bentley is going to play in the centre, strange set up & very disjointed
im not surprised, the elephant is avb, he is a cluster fuck waiting to happen
That is some talent. Sometimes you have to work around players like him to accommodate his strengths which HR never did. I think AVB will work on him and it will be as good as a new signing.
