GDS ability is not in doubt,if you look at his background and the fact he plays at Spurs you cannot doubt his pedigree.
However there has been a huge doubt over his attitude and work rate.
If you compare him on this issue compared to Scott Parker you can see how lightweight GDS is in this respect.
He badly drifts out of games and altho he can occasionally produce brilliance he is an overall liability to the team. Another in this mould was Adel Taarbat.
He has to unlearn the very south american style in his play and it looks like he cannot, in this way he is limited.
Its more than likely he will not feature as he lacks the abiltiy to transform his game to the next level, even with help.

But, we’re stuck with him for another 2 seasons and I doubt we can find anyone to take him off of us.
