Evenin’ all.

Shakhtar Donetsk’s Willian Borges Da Silva is the name in the frame. And if this has the legs I hope it has we will have snapped up an incredible footballer who would fit seamlessly into the André Villas-Boas’ project.

A 5 year contract signed in 2007 with suggests he’s available on a free.

‘I like to pick the ball up out wide and then dribble lots. As a young boy, I idolised Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. My style is more like Ronaldinho’s, behind the main striker in a No 10 role. In England, I play a little bit like Nani or Luka Modric.’

I like Chelsea and Arsenal’s styles a lot. I’d be very happy to play for Tottenham too and help get them back into the Champions League. They’re a very big  club.’  Daily Mail Aug 2011

A Brazilian that speaks Portuguese. Ooh I say.

I am feeling quietly confident and hoping that by the end of the transfer windown some stability will be restored and we can concentrate on the football and give the gaffer a coach to implement his cutting edge ideas !

So many idiots calling into Talksport at the moment talking about Spurs. I don’t know why I listen, I guess it’s like car crash TV in a way.

Sadly i’ve had to depart from TalkSport. Just can’t stand the objectionable current array of muppets masquerading as DJ’s. Some are just bad – Irani, Gough, Moose, Quinn, the twat with the lisp who works with Cundy. Some are offensive in an effort to ‘provoke debate’ – Durham, Matterface (fit wife mind), Cundy (we won’t forget that goal against Ipswich tho Jase, Bless you).

I’ve got better things to do with my ears than listen to the same debates being replayed over and over again.

Just out of interest what are some of those other things?

I was once a TS devotee. Whilst living abroad I would have it streaming over t’internet at night. But Keyes and Gray, Brazil, Durham, Collymore, Cundy, Quinn, Cascarino are people who’s voices and opinions I can do without. It’s London Greek Radio for me now.
