Paul Jiggins is a man of immensely limited human dimensions. Which is a kind way of saying he probably would be better suited to say, cleaning toilets or peeling potatoes for a living than pretending to be a sports reporter.
Here’s the transcription of a paid journalist making himself look about as informed as a dead sheep or as he called it, ‘interrogating Villas-Boas.’
Mr Ploppy: Andre, can you understand Hugo Lloris’ frustration about the situation because you did pay quite a lot of money for him.
AVB: “What is the frustration?”
Mr Ploppy: Well frustration about not being in the team.
AVB: “How do you know?”
Mr Ploppy: Well he didn’t play last night did he?
AVB: “How do you know he’s frustrated?”
Mr Ploppy: I am asking you, do you find him frustrated?
AVB:“I am asking you what…”
Mr Ploppy: Has he actually come to you and said he’s frustrated?
AVB: “No, he’s not frustrated.”
Mr Ploppy: He’s obviously happy with the situation?
AVB:“Obviously.”
Mr Ploppy: Do you expect to have more talks with him?
AVB: “No we have talks every day, with every player at every training session, that’s the way things work.”
Now that was on the the morning of the 27th of this month after the Carlisle game. Instead of taking a hint, a paid journalist went go one further and make up a tale to support his fantasy [link].
‘Boss AVB also had a bust-up with technical co-ordinator Tim Sherwood, who is allegedly angry at being frozen out.
Players complained that AVB’s gruelling double training sessions — sometimes staged just 24 hours before a match — left them too tired to perform in Premier League matches this season.
And Spurs stars have also hit out at their manager’s negative style of football, telling him they would prefer to play a more attacking system. AVB has scrapped the double training sessions after listening to his squad.
But AVB is said to have been left reeling by the mutiny, which reportedly follows bust-ups with some of the club’s old guard behind the scenes.’
As you can see, in this quote free piece Jiggins doesn’t make any mention of the ‘incompetent’ attempt to get the boss to confess to something that wasn’t true. Now, I don’t know about you, but I had a nailed on source, the old ‘insider’ sketch going on, I’d want want to run the article to follow-up an interview with the angle that Villas Boas was in denial. ‘Somebody isn’t telling the truth, here.’
But of course, there was no source. There was no story, just a petulant little toad out for some half cocked trouble making.
Oh yes and Tim Sherwood told the Guardian:
“That’s all they are – just rumours, that’s all I know about it.
“I’ve got a great job where I am. There ain’t nothing to consider. It’s just speculation. I love what I do. I’m happy at the football club, it’s a great project.”

Whether it was Jiggins or one of his media mates, it’s been shown up for the tripe it is with both the showIg of the teams performances as well has several player interviews and twitter comments refuting this cobblers.
As said before it was Jiggins who last year wrote another back Page ‘headline’ stating Micheal Dawson wanted out, and went on to use this for a bit of spurs bashing about beIng in turmoil. He then went on Talk**** blabbing the same story smuggly. Only for Dawson to later release an official statement labelling it all comPlete lies and that he would be consulting his legal team. Leaving Jiggins to go underground and said radio station trying to cover their old chums tracks making excuses.
Stop buying this rag and stop giving the website hits by visiting the story. This story like the Dawson one is simply a load of old Jiggins.

Cannot understand why any Tottenham fan,would even bother to read the Sun,It never has anything decent to say about us,or any other team come too that,other than the arse,which it seems to love.Still the fact remains,its a complete shitte of a rag,in every aspect.Then again journilism,in the Uk seems to be extremely poor these days,And the majority of hacks,seem to invent things,or never do there home work.I much prefer these days,to go round club supporters sites.Yes at times,some of the comment can be odd.Thats normal’ily down to the fans over love of his/or her particular club.But at least they are genuine.The only site that still seems to have on the whole.spill out hatered and bile,yes you got it,the arse.And its not always directed at Tottenham either.all clubs have there,nutter following,but the arse seem to have a bucket load of them.Its quite weird really to understand.
“JIGGINS” is now a new swear word, I will be writing to The Oxford English Dictionary (other dictionary’s are available) to get this fully ratified.
This could be used in the context “What the jiggins is going on?”, “Jiggins off” and “I have just done a jiggins in my trousers”
Oh and by the way didn’t AVB look and speak with an incredible amount of professionalism, seems a long way from leaning out of the window of a range rover and twitching expletives.

The term was first used after the Dawsongate fiasco about August last year, when a headline about our player appeared in the Sun and on live radio was verfied by the author-only to be shot down on live radio not 5 minutes later by the player..classic-who can forget?..perhaps the editor of the Sun did, Jig to think of it?

Why do so many outsiders seem to want to see AVB fail? Is it because they all love Harry? I have never known such vitriol towards a manager (apart from maybe anyone cursed with the England job). Is it because AVB is such a young manager? Why does he attract such seeming hatred and animosity?
AVB is so much more intelligent than the people reporting the shite about him, whereas twitchy always stupidly engaged with the press and told them everything they wanted to hear, always airing the clubs business in public. Transfer deadline day always ended with Arry leaning out of his car giving some shite quote about which players we weren’t able to sign for some elaborate excuse.
Been thinkin the same thing? No other chelsea manager has been hounded after getting the boot? I thought it was prolly because he joined Spurs who the media hated after Levy got that Sun reporter the sack. Pretty much for doing what Jiggins is doin btw. Couple that with AVB being a foreigner and taking redcrapps job and ya somewhere near the truth. But I think the winner is he doesn’t take any crap from em and tells them nothing. When redcrapp was at WHL it was like Spurs were on Big Brother.

I’m sure the confusion is with the LES a few years back. There was a reporter who printed a load of bullshit that Levy objected to, but the guy carried on a vendetta until Levy literally offered him out in the stands-and then banned him from the Lane. That was early on when ENIC took over, but the jouno’s all club together, like GP’s, Masons and the Old Bill-you attack one-you attack them all, so be prepared for a lot more of this-especially now AVB’s made Jigglins look a right wanker…but it’s not the first time the cretin’s managed that..I’m just amazed he’s still employed-but then again..perhaps I’m not
True, Spurs were copping crap and Levy took him to task. Levy made a statement asked the guy to prove it, threatened legal action and the guy jumped before he got fried. I’ll ask the young fella he knows more about it than me. We were talking about all the AVB bullshit and it came up. I remember the incident, but the old grey matter has been swamped with copious amounts of amber matter a few too many times.
I can clearly remember Levy getting really angry and letting fly at someone before a game-so much Levy had to be restrained by ‘his’ people. But don’t forget the LES,Metro,Daily Mail and I believe the Daily Star, are or were, all part of the same group.
This goes on long before Redknapp, so there’s no connection with him ( that makes a change) It’s more like the media using him (HR) as a stick to try to beat Levy with. The media were not exacly onside with Redknapp during his court appearances by making the assumption he was guilty as charged, but then again they did him no favours by assuming he’d got the England gig, which IMHO was the sole reason he didn’t get it..still fuck ’em, with the internet who needs a newspaper, when taking a shit a decent book does nicely and Andrex wipes my Essex arse quite sufficiently.

Most of it is coming from Chavs and gooners in the media, who desperately want him to fail. They fear that he, and consequently Spurs, could become a huge success if left alone, so they are attempting to destabilise the Spurs project in it’s infancy.
Under the premise of, if you say something long enough and loud enough, some of the mud sticks, we have unfounded attacks on his tactics, man management, character, player selection and even sense of humour.
All clubs have players on the bench, but it’s only at Spurs that it’s supposedly a problem.
The attacks on him are certainly nothing to do with looking after Spurs’ best interests and unfortunately for them, the guy with no talent or charisma has just beaten Man U away.
