Chalkboard For The Saints

Good morning.

Match of the day? Well we can live in hope.

The Saints sit a point ahead of QPR having won just one game for far this term and that was at home against Villa who they managed to beat 4-1.  Now what Southampton have managed to do is score. They’ve won naff all but they have scored against everyone. Arsenal, Everton, Manchester United…So we need a defense

Based upon his last two games alone (for England and us) Walker needs ‘a rest’. To regroup and refocus himself before it all goes horribly wrong for all of us. So I’ve brought in Naughton. To be blunt, at this stage a ‘caution wet floor’ sign would present more of an obstacle defensively than he’s been of late.

Billy was a close second in recent hate fests and I can’t take any of that seriously. Dawson for all his fan boy support is a hoofing heart-breaker we have to move away from this. All you do when you punt the ball away is turn possession into a 50/50 ball. I know it’s boring, but that’s predominantly what the bloke does.

First things second and I’ve put in Lloris but I think the boss will stick with Brad. i don’t know why, no sun up in the sky, stormy weather. Well I don’t think it will actually make things stormy but I just don’t see the good in it.

So where next? Barring a bout of post natal depression the Boy Bale ought to be back but I am unconvinced Moussa will be right. So at the risk of sending you my dear reader into spasm of wtf’ing I’ve gone for Thud. Why? Well I don’t need to watch Livermore again this season if I can help it, I don’t see Gylfi as a DM and despite the thinking of more charitable souls than mine none of the kids are ready yet.

Thud could make something happen and that leads me neatly on to playing a 442 with both of our brave strikers starting. I see little point in keeping either of them ‘up our sleeve’ against Southampton. This lot leak goals like nobody’s business and we need to make sure therefore we really focus on supply and therefore hopefully scoring.

Prediction? I’m sticking with us giving them a hiding. There’s no earthly reason why we should be the side that turns their abysmal form around. None whatsoever. We must show resolve – we must show steel.

They don’t like it up ’em, you know, The cold hard steel.

NY Giants blow 23-0 lead and come back to win 29-24….

Why do both of my football teams insist on shortening my life expectancy????

Clattenburg’s in shit street for alleged racial comments made while refereeing the Chelsea game, will it ever end?I’m starting to get the feeling the racial card is all too easy to flip when Chelsea are using it.

Surely everything he says is recorded off his mike? Incompetent, useless, inept etc. But a racist? I doubt it?

He is miked up to the linesman and fourth offical so should be good evidence of what he said.
On Talksport today Graham Poll said he was accused of making offensive comments in 2006 following a game between us and Chelsea. The Chelsea complaints were eventually found to be untrue.

Well I think John Terry’s schtick will play great in the USA South…..

At least no more lousy Greek language feeds from dodgy Chinese gambling sights with all sorts of virus threats.

The Sunday New York Times have 3 pages of the Sports pages on John Terry including the first. And this was despite the World Series being on,the NFL being on Sunday. Footie is gaining momentum in the states.
Infamy sells. But I think if Terry he probably would make it more in the south under the confederate flag.
