first let me start by saying, yes obviously we are all disapointed by yesterdays perfomance and result but come on guys really, what else did anyone expect?? All the pundits had us as a draw at best but most went for bolton. It was obvious beacuse this is tottenham. We know what they are like, everyone does and in a way thats why we love them. I think Redknapp got it wrong big time yesterday. An away day at Bolton is not the time to bring in 3 players with 3 or 4 starts between them this season. Everybody knows games are won and lost in midfield, we were on a hiding to nothing. Modric should have started centre with Hudd. Keane could have played the midfield/second striker role. At least Keane shows some balls. The commentator I listened to made a point of saying in the tunnel when Kevin Davies heard Gallas was playing he was jumping for joy and fist pumping. I thought Kaboul was the worst player on the pitch, very very poor. In the first ten minutes I saw Sandro marking Davies at a set play , WTF. Why was a more senior player not assigned to cover him. I knew then we were screwed.
Im no Redknapp basher but there were some basic details that anyone reading this blog would have got better.
