Yes we hav a leaky defence but i is not neccesarily the defenders (apart from ekotto, caught the wrong side of his man yet again for the first goal) that are the problem.
In the first half Fabregas was given so much room it was ridiculous. He was receiving the ball andthere wasn’t a white shirt within 10 yards of him
Well done on a fantastic fightback but we have to tighten up. We are capable of winning the league, our squad matches anybody and if we add a world class striker in january…..
But if we don’t tighten uop we won’t finish top 4

Great, Fantastic, Superb, Amazing, Gutsy and every other superlative that I haven’t used to describe the win over them lot yesterday. I watched the game at my local leisure centre and the mix of support was about 50/50 the atmosphere was brilliant but I must say that I and the many other faithful in the place feared the worst two nil down at half time. Not looking good. But something about the way we came out suggested that this was far from over in fact I remember saying to the gooner lad next to me the next goal is crucial if we score it’s game on and he looked worried and within a minute of me saying that Bale scores the type of goal that regular world class strikers score a thing of beauty to behold. Moderics jinking run just outside their box might not have produced anything but when Song bought him down and Van Der Vart stood over the ball I was praying and my prayers were answered when Fabregas decided to put his arm up and hail for a taxi. Penalty. Don’t choke don’t choke was all I could say as VdV stepped up and he didn’t. Phil Dowd, what a tool for booking him after that goal. Right there being honest I would have accepted the point and called it evens but oh no To Dare is to do up pops Kaboul and the place has just erupted but before that the look of dejection when there goal is ruled offside. Priceless. We have two talisman in our squad VDV and one Gareth Bale. I loved the way them two just popped up anywhere on the park left right centre and as the MOTD team said last night when Defoe came on the whole game changed which kinda proves what we already know which is that we’re not quite there when it comes to the lone striker. The boys did brilliantly but let’s not get carried away we still have a job to do up next it’s Liverpool this game means nothing if we don’t do the same to them.
