Pires is a ponce silly boy.

If I was to draw up a list of really stupid things not to do as they may result in my death or permanent injury, somewhere between the top and the bottom would be, ‘have a pop at Joe Jordan, or at very least one of his mates while Joe is standing close by’. Here’s some almost ropey footage of the incident…. HERE

Otherwise it was a nerve jangling affair with Jermain Defoe being entered in the case file of clips that prove referees need video technology to aid them in their task. And the BAFTA for Getting An Arm Around The Ear Then Clutching Your Eyes Whilst Shouting , ‘I Am Blinded, Dec!’ goes to…

Van der Vaart is a blessing. We often talk about attitude and commitment of players. When I mean talk, I mean question of course. Raphael’s apparent devotion to duty is a  joy to behold. His intelligence and talents on the field are just amazing and in a time of badge kissing mercenaries he really is different gravy.

We are a side that spends long periods of time waiting patiently for a Messiah to come along and just occasionally …we seem to get one.

I’m somewhat disgusted that Harry says we don’t have a true leader (i.e. Terry or Carragher), when Rafa has a game like he did yesterday. His refuse to lose passion has brought more to the team this year than Harry seems to recognize. His leadership has brought the team to a place where we can come from behind to win games, and his spirit has contributed to Bale’s rise in confidence. As Trembly said, It was a classy move by a true leader when he came on to the field at the final whistle. All hail Wonder Vaart!

Being a good footballer and being a good leader as Harry said is not the same thing.

Ledley King for example is what many wold call world class but rarely speaks on the pitch. Could say the same for Modric, Bale, VDV, Woodgate among others.

One of the reasons we have to wait to half time to sort things out is that Harry has to do it there because nobody on the pitch does it. That type of player, a great player AND a manager on the pitch is gold dust. There is nobody in our current squad doing that role at present.

I think Terry and Carragher are a pair of cunts, either of them are not fit to lace Dawson or Kings boots

Have you noticed how Harry is now attempting to be more of a diplomat? Not so long ago he would have exploded about the red card, now he quietly accepts it. Grooming himself for the England job.

Either that or the docs have told him to chillax :shifty: allegedly

I think he called Pires a cheating cunt, my lip reading skills are normally spot on.

I also heard a suspended sentence is possibly in the offing for the tax avoidance case next year. I think that will end the england gig talk.

Pardew quote regarding a conversation with Carroll on Xmas day.

“I said to him, ‘I do not want to talk for you. We are talking together. It is important you want to stay and if you do, that is great news for us because we will make sure he stays’.

    He sounds confident :)
