Enquiries Made For Top Notch Striker

According to Roger Morgan on Spurs Odious.

The enquiries are from Sunderland and the striker is Crazypavinchenko.

This would tie in if you buy the domino theory of transfer rumours wot wiv Barron Arthur Dent’s desire to become Emile Heskey 2.0.

Is this cobblers? Who knows? But with 3MP seemingly unimpeachable from being Arry’s number one striker… I think Pav loves us and he’d be reluctant to stray.

Oh listen to me, I’m like a swooning schoolboy.

This van Wolfswinkel kid is going to be a big one..Not saying he would solve our current “strikeforce” problem just yet, but the kid’s an absolute gem! We should get him aboard, he’s Spurs style, and for DL : no doubt he’ll be value for money..

Wish we could sell Keane AND Crouch to newc for Carroll, and buy another striker to make 4.
Heard a Sunderland supporter on TalkSport who was glad they are selling Bent as it’s good money. he said exactly what I thought of Bent when he was at Spurs – can score goals but has no other football talent at all, ie messes up the team play.

And even the goals he scores, ‘Arry’s Missus coulda tapped in…….

    • Harry Hotspur says:

Bent is a great goal scorer, if and only if you play the way Charlton and Ipswich (at the time) played.

Through ball, edge of the area… touch – step – whallop.

Sounds dismissive, but the Premiership at it’s best, it’s very best demands more.

      Rooney decline anyone?

Sounds nice. A striker who scores, through balls you say? “VdV must play off a lone striker” etc.

From the Guardian website tonight “Spurs also asked Real Madrid last month if they could take Karim Benzema on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy the Frenchman in the summer. Real, though, have lost the Argentinian Gonzalo Higuaín to a long-term back problem which has necessitated surgery – and their manager, José Mourinho, is more likely to buy a striker than sell one.”
