What you call a result.

The absence of VdV, Bale and Modders has left us looking like the hotch potch that went to Sunderland.

Mr Van der Vaart has confirmed via Twitter…

“Good news. Back on the pitch tomorrow, can’t wait to put on my shirt again!”

…and he’s even supplied a snap of his match shirt!

sad the boy bale is out but it does make me feel a bit of big bollox to see spurs injury news running as the lead sport story on both the beeb and SSN.

also noted from further reading that harry says Sandro will play. Despite my making comments such as ‘not that lightweight cad’ and ‘he’s effin shite’, i thought he played well on saturday. Nevertheless I am a mite trepident at the thought of him vs gattuso

    HAHA! FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

Guys i cant believe u didnt notice the PREMIER LEAGUE BADGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hae:

and also, WHY would we wear our away kit against Milan whose shirt is Red/Black? We will be clad in Lillywhite 2nite i guarantee u.

    Some common sense people!!

    COYS :ninja: :winke:

And Boingy isn’t in CL squad I dont think.

    • rickyvillasluckyundercrackers says:

Ok, but while we being sticklers for accuracy……the game is tomorrow chief :-p

      • Assou-Ekotto says:

I read the whole article and comments section to see which idiot said the game was 2nite n it was me!

here’s to hoping bale and modric make incredible progress over the next 24 hours and fly out 2moro!

If we draw or win (or lose respectively) without them then even better!

    • Astromesmo says:

Benny, how will you be wearing your hair on the morrow? You know that it has a big bearing on your game. Please say it’s the no-nonsense ‘rows’?

    • Harry Hotspur says:

It is his account though :-p

      • MysteriousStranger says:

Quite. It’s from his twitter account. He posted that pic via twitpic. On the account are numerous pics, including pics of him with his son (commenting on how he’ll be playing at the 2026 World Cup…).

It’s “a” match shirt, is it not?

        So why is it “fake”?

His point is he can’t wait to put his shirt on. He accompanies the tweet with an image. I don’t think he’s saying, “this is the exact shirt, I am currently stood taking said pic in the dressing room at the San Siro”

        Some people need to learn.

  • Charles says:

That was Sandro’s first full game for Spurs.A few more games and we will be rave’ing about this lad the same as we are now rave’ing about Bale.I have no doubt he will take a age’ing Gattuso to the cleaners.I feel the same way with Pav.,they hardly ever play and when they come on for a few minutes people expect miracles.Give them a run of games and then lets gudge them.

  • Astromesmo says:

Either White or Black kit, I’m fine as long as it’s not the light blue. It’s just makes us play like a bunch of shoegazers from the 1990’s.

I’m so excited I could wee.

    • rickyvillasluckyundercrackers says:

      Think I just did a little one….

Just hope we can keep it competitive tomorrow then mangle ’em at the lane on another inter-esque night.
Nice to see Pirlo is out. Big plus for us.

I’m trying to resist the temptation to coat off that shit house Ibra-whotsit. Think he’s pony but you can’t help feeling he’ll get one tomorrow. It’s what we do don’t you know….

    • Assou-Ekotto says:

Il either go for the full on Afro or the straight rows and paint every 2nd row in Red to make the Milan players think im on their team.

      Dont knock the light blue:
Stoke away 2-1 exquisite bale goal
Sunderland away 2-1 exquisite krank goal :)

      • Astromesmo says:

OK, I take it back… Fulham tho?

Anyway, as Mysteriousnessness points out below, we have no reason to be in anything but our splendid best all-white number. So that should answer that one.

    • MysteriousStranger says:

I would have thought there could be no reason to wear an away kit in either leg for either team. Where’s the clash? I’d imagine the light blue wouldn’t get a run out against all white, nor black against black/red. Light blue vs the black and red? What would be the point?

You could only conceivably see our black(super dark dark blue or whatever it is) vs their white. Which are both away kits. And since one team will be playing at home, t’ain’t gonna happen.

We’re building a legacy of our own here, in Tottenham home colours :daumen:

  • Anthony In That Number says:

The good news is that Meeeeeelan have a number of injuries and ineligible players as well. Pirlo will miss both legs of the tie , as will Van Bommel who is ineligible as are Cassano and Emanuelson. They also have Ambrosini out injured . It leaves them with a very combative midfield of probably Gattuso, Flamini, Seedorf and upfront Ibrahimovitch , Pato and Robinho. They are obviously still a strong side, full of experience and know how but I think we can cause them problems. We must press them and not play the game at the slower pace they will prefer and are used to in Serie A… COYS
