Cristian Ceballos – Don’t Get Excited…

Morning.

The name Ceballos has been whizzing around the Internet and from what Guillem Balague has to say, I’d go easy on the cries of, ‘He is The Messiah – I should know, I’ve followed a few!’

Physically resembling a sparrow, wheezy, weak, hunchbacked and fighting an ongoing battle with rickets the young product of the Barca Acadamy has also trained with Chelsea and they would only offer him a Reserves Contract.

I exaggerate his physical disadvantages of course, but one of the reasons he will be let go is that he is slight of build. Even by Barcelona’s standards. Mind you, he is apparently hugely talented with a football.  Just  perhaps not very successful when partcipating in anything that requires ‘jostling’.

He’s on free and cheap to feed. If we are wasting our time on a sober version of Dos Santos but with an eating disorder I guess it is better to do so now rather than the last day of the window.

Is it just me or does scouting look easy? Klose is on a free this summer – for example and we’re looking at someone who if they don’t develop a booze habit might come good in three or four years time – who Cheatski didn’t want.

Triffic.

why not give him a try?oh yes thats it,because arry wont give him a feckin game anyway.without injuries we would have the lowest number of players used, without a doubt!peter crouch was a late bloomer physically…still waiting for him to fill out!I think that any half decent player could fit into the barca/arsenal 11,when the mentallity is the same from the youths to the 1st team everyone knows the job.take them out of that zone and im not so sure

I would sign this young Barca Boy then tell him to come back when he’s grown up

How about none of us have seen him play so in reality we dont know how good he is but to captain barca u17 you gotta be doing something right if he signs give the lad a chance unlike gio and taarabt( big mistake), just dont know why harry sells all our talented youngster’s and want’s to buy players from the retirement home ala neville freidel wake up levy please dont let him buy that garbage!…

Gio has had more than enough chances and has spectacularly failed to take any of them. As for Taraabt, I am reliably informed that in QPR’s games with Derby this year the distinctly average Robbie Savage kept him safely in his back pocket for the duration of both meetings.

We’re better off without the pair of them.

I don’t believe Harry is much good with youth….he may give them all the encouragement and confidence they need (like the rest of the squad) but he doesn’t pick them until an injury crisis hits….Bale, Sandro, Rose. None featured until things became desperate.
