Every Single Goal This Season In One Mighty Video

Good morning.

This piece of dedicated compiling comes courtesy of You Tuber extraordinaire twistedbutlogical.

It’s really nice piece of work. Some of the goals are belters, some are screamers. There are more than a few that whizz into the old onion sack and some by contrast are more delicate in nature. Goodness me, there’s something for the entire family here.

Unfortunately the problem with a blog is that when a new thread starts the old one is effectively closed…personally I blame the tabloids and music videos for reducing the average attention span to that of the realm of ever changing horizons, experienced they say, by Goldfish.

It occurred to me (carrying n from previous discussions), that in Harry’s defence a point was missed. Many dislike the upbeat “we’ve never had it so good” line, but fail to note that Harry is using this as a way of avoiding making excuses and in doing so, pointing fingers in certain directions.

As I posted before, could anyone “reasonably” have expected Defoe to be so ineffective that between him and Crouch they could not muster 4 or 5 goals against relegation fodder. Remember we had 70%+ of possession and ran these teams ragged with sweeping flowing football, but simply could not apply the final touch, even when it was harder to miss! Just a handful of chances converted would have probably given us 4th or even 3rd.

There has been not one word of recrimination: that may well happen when in the privacy of the WHL dressing room when he asks certain individuals for their executive crapper key back, but there has been nothing of note in public except to blunt Defoe’s shirking of responsibility for his own shortcomings: even that was handled in a way to allow Defoe plenty of opportunity to save face.

Additionally, I think its worth observing that the constant nit picking and spin on every single word will mean that as in politics we will get prepared statements that meet the requirements of the TV deals but no more. Harry says what’s on his mind, is prepared to have a bit of a laugh and a joke and frankly breaking that down to minutiae and micro analysing everything, is reducing it down to the absurd and pulling more reasoned and reasonable analysis down with it.

      Redknapp out! :winke:

Redknapp does deserve another season, and if it were any other manager, I think most people would agree.

For me, most of it’s personal; I just can’t stand the bloke, and to have such a classless buffoon in charge of Spurs is saddening.

aha, so the truth is out then, its a personal thing TMW? fantastic basis for getting rid, simply fuckin sublime

So I continue in my quest to get any kind of answer from you on who should replace Arry……hold up, are you now saying he should stay….

        Yours, confused Spurs fan
