Two immediate thoughts from me. One is that these Azza having an insatiable attraction with the north tales – hot footing it up there at weekends etc – have been doing the rounds for the last few years and nothing has ever come of them.
The second thing is that the two stories to have emerged in the past week or so are the one about a Man Utd mega bid for Modders and this one. What I understand is that the Modders one is true, but the player is extremely unlikely to entertain it and the Azza Blud one is just made up cobblers.
Let’s hope this is the case, eh?
If we sell Modric to United, my association with Spurs may just well be beyond the breaking point.

Lennon is not particularly liked by the management/coaching staff, bad attitude & frustratingly inconsistant. He was fined a weeks wages a game or two ago for failing to do his lounge rota, point blank refused. I think if a good offer comes in and a replacement can be found then we will sell him. Hasn’t done enough for me this year, he has hid a little in some games, not wanting to make the run or take a man on, too many times taking the easy option of pasing back or square.
Its not unlikely that Beckham may be back and though he’d likely be a cameo player, Lennon’s spot is the one where he’d cameo from….
Modders sale would be a terrible thing, especially to another EPL side; I really can’t see it even at that price. The fact is we are on the lokout for players who are worth 35 mill but who we can get for a bit cheaper and at our wages….that makes modders irreplaceable.
