How about they play for nothing? Just accommodation and a basic allowance for grub etc. I’d have fucking loved to donned the lillywhite shirt, that would have suited me. Just the honour. yep melc, i simply dont get it either. The only good thing about it was an excuse to go tut pub…other than that my enthusiasm soon wanes when you see the flow(?!!) of the first 10-mins. I cant recall ANY U21 thrillers.

I used to think the sun shined out of Pearce’s arse but watching his teams’ play football makes me want to self harm.
The best coach of the u21’s I’ve seen was in the studio – Peter Taylor. His team were a joy to watch and invariably won their games. Sacked for doing everything he was asked to.
Pearce is clueless and one dimensional, poorest system of play I’ve seen in a team for quite a while, too much hoofing and too many favourites – sounds like someone closer to home eh?
