Oh yes, I have heard from an exceptional source that Azza Blud is going through the self indulgent motions as Defoe was. Blaming everyone and anyone but himself for not living up to the burden of expectation. Niggles with Arry, giving Levy & Co a headache with regard to his contract negotiations.
As replies get lost ……….. Here’s one I made earlier, For a winger he has no tricks up his sleeve. So, from a standing start when confronted by a defender he has to lay it off. No step overs or Gazza turns.
Pretty one dimensional in that respect not that he can’t be effective when he has the right sort of pass to deal with.
Lennon improves every season.
He scares the shit out of most defences.
His final ball is much improved especially his reverse pass back.
Who might we get who is better ?
It did make me laugh when they released those pictures of the England players during the world cup. i think they were sitting in a private area and Aaron Lennon was smoking a cigar..what an absolute plonker…would you want him in your team?

My advice to Daniel Levy ….sell your interest in Haringey Hotspurs .. “Supporting Our Future” .. is looking like a pressure/steering group consisting of the best brains that the damage limitation department of Wood Green wankers could organise. They suddenly realise that THFC could be upping sticks and getting ready to roll along into a future without them, that they won’t have a slice of action anymore …It pisses me off when a smartarse politician has the barefaced cheek to imply that Spurs have a responsibility to the people,(of,Haringey?) WITHOUT SPURS TOTTENHAM WOULD HAVE ZILCH FOR THE LAST 125 YEARS.

Fucking Haringey OWE Spurs a huge debt of gratitude, so screw you fucking riders of the “Supporting Our Future” Wooden horse fabrication I say we are SPURS and we can play wherever we like (if we can find a site that is :dizzy2: ) Spurs are an established brand with a GLOBAL fanbase.

So my advice to Daniel would be to abandon ship or you’ll end up going down the ol swannee without a paddle… Just like the £20 i’ve got on Spurs to win the league this season. :angry:

Nobody could convince me that the right sided players in the team were stronger than the left sided players.
Coruluka and Lennon dident play well together it was clear to see, they “over-played” always 1 ball to many, their pairing was extremely unproductive.
If you look at Ekoto and Bale, wow what a difference and you could see the team creating alot from the left side, more assists and goals if you check the stats.
If I had the choice right now I would take Downing he can play effectively on the right wing but is a natural left winger,,,you could get “HIM” for 20 mill…
Ps dont really blame Corluka either…think he is a better player than Lennon makes him look….
No please not Downing no, a winger who can’t beat a defender and has to cross from 20 yards back with his left foot from the right! The only pass he can play from there is to Crouch’s head.
He doesn’t fit our style of play and renders a quick counter attack useless as it can then only come down the left side making it easy to defend against.
I just don’t get how Downing is seen as any thing but an average player,iv’e never seen him have an outstanding game
