‘A deal has been put in place to sign South Korea forward Park Chu-young from AS Monaco for around £5.3m.’

So say National.ae who claim to be the leading English-language voice in the Middle East.

‘The captain of his national team and a scorer at the last World Cup, the 6ft tall Park can operated as a central striker or on the right hand side of the attack.

The 25-year-old is looking for wages of around £60,000 a week, but brings with him significant commercial income due to his popularity in Asia.’

Kerrching.

Danny Rose looking like the LB cover we need for BAE and he is a bigger threat in attack.
Should save us a few million.
I do wonder what would have happened to him if BAE had not got injured. Would he have been loaned out again and eventually sold on ?
Baler only got a chance at LB because BAE was either injured or playing in International competition.

      Thanks Steveo.

Great goal. I thought Rosey was most impressive at the end of the season and looks capable of filling in at either left back or left midfield and who knows how good he may become

Whilst Mr Redknapp is serving his brief spell in open prison this summer, someone needs to buy him a laptop with Football Manager installed and show him how to search for a striker, rather than relying on some shitty DVD an agent in Monte Carlo has sent him.

I’d better be careful what I say on here, for fear of being called names by someone with far greater belief in his own opinions than I have in my own. :cwy:

On second thoughts, what do I care? :freu

Monaco? Perhaps this guy is the reason why Harry had that money wired to his account there! :silly:
