Ahhhhhhhhhh come on, some of you must be new. Re-Signs….

But these pics are really good.  Are you honestly telling me they weren’t worth luring you in for? This is VDV renewing his wedding vows.

For the benefit of my BFF Spooky – they aren’t photo shopped.

And maybe Triffic Tottenham, you could re-title your piece, ‘Rafa Re-Signs Pictures’

Here they are. Hold on to your hernias, here’s the goods.

So, Luka is on holiday. On a boat at sea. And he called the Daily Mail. To stir up a transfer to the Chavs.

    Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

matt lawton doesn’t normally write total bollox but this time I hope it is so.

When the manager comes out and says ‘ this is as good as it gets ‘ when the team gets 5th and a place in the ropey league what else can we expect?

The shit is going to hit the fan @ spurs if we sell him, bale & sandro will be next and we’ll always be seen as a feeder club.

      • Sirled says:

He was referring to the fact we had played both milan teams and real madrid and got to the quarter finals of the champs lge!

        • jfdit says:

no you’re incorrect, he clearly stated 5th place was the best we could expect with the resources of the current top 4 as they are.

the context of the statement included the cup run but the dummy was spat out when he was questioned about fans being unhappy with our league form.

The interview is on the web somewhere – watch it

@jfdit, I’m no judge of Mr. Lawton’s work but this story smells. Unless he was calling from Roman’s yacht, I’m not buying it.

  • Finn says:

This sounds a lot like an agent talking, “on behalf of his client who has expressed the following…..”.

There was talk of a contract renegotiation for Modric, ie upping his wages, perhaps this is part of that. On the other hand he may have been tapped up for a while, agent getting fantastic all expenses paid whore-tours and a handy sum of cash stashed in a locker at Odessa station.

As I said before if we (DL/THFC), do not come out fighting this with threats of illegal activity by Cheatski, we condone it; which sends its own message. That will inevitably result in an unsettled player assuming we don’t believe in fairies, smurfs or the Daily Mail and as the boy Line-Acre says will define ouor ambition.

This event is crunch time for us and the mask will come off to reveal who we really are when it comes to actions rather than intentions.

    • jfdit says:

he’s gone already in his own mind, let’s get the big money he warrants quickly and get players in to replace him

personally I’d sell him abroad, why strengthen our so called rivals?

‘arry obviously convinced him our team were on the up :ninja:

      • onedavemackay says:

I’d rather he goes abroad but it’ll need to be a club with loads of wonga and they are a little thin on the ground

        • jfdit says:

we need to do a deal with madrid, they’ve got plenty of players we could trade with like diarra, ozil or possible higuain

anything but strengthening the chavs or the mancs

      • onedavemackay says:

It’s a nice idea but this is starting to sound like a done deal between Roman and Luka. So I think the best we can do is screw the balls off them. If Torres is worth 50 million Modders can’t be far behind.

        • jfdit says:

the low ball offer would indicate they think they’ll get him on the cheap as they’ve already got the player on side. The fact he wants to join a club without a manager speaks volumes about the degree of tapping up.

time to up the ante for DL, even getting them to offer players in exchange will upset the harmony in their squad then sell the fucker to citeh if he stays in england. They’ll pay the most and at least they didn’t tap him up.

  • onedavemackay says:

I’m afraid this sounds genuine. The Telegraph tends to tell it as it is.

  • jerkinmahjurgen says:

There’s no way even The Sport would have the gall to fabricate such a quote from the actual player. This is not shullbit, unfortunately.
