My initial thoughts are that the Podolski tip came initially from the speculation of the manager he spoke to. The agent wasn’t placing a bet on Podolski. He was betting and mentioned in passing the nature of his business which included a Budesliga name.
I’d be very positive about us signing a German striker. By and large, they tend to know where the net is.

Seeing as our Strikers cant score for toffee maybe we should try some other ex Spurs strikers as coaches? Get Teddy / Klinsmann in? Maybe Chris Armstrong to show them how NOT to do it and raise their self confidence…?
Alternatively we can offer them money for scoring rather than wethers originals finest…

Defoe/Crouch/Pav scored 17 for Spurs
They managed 2nd and a shed load more goals than Spurs.
I’d suggest that our keeper and defence were equally responsible for points dropped!
