There are the rules, if you really want to trawl through “Player Eligibility” and work out how he could be registered or when, but according to our squad page also on UEFA.com he isn’t registered at present. Robbie Keane was registered though! Players such as Bentley, and Dos Santos weren’t. Sandro wasn’t either, though we know he was injured. This squad can be changed at certain dates depending on the qualification criteria and which list, “Player List A”, or “Player List B”.
Clearly there’s no point registering injured players, who can be added at a later stage when expected to be available.

Good to see the youngsters but pretty disapointing bunch really. Compared to other ‘top’ teams youngsters I mean. Only Carroll seemed to have anything.. Poor Fredricks didn’t beat his man once, tackled back a few times.. Townsend wasn’t much better, Harry Kane suffered what all our strikers suffer – no delivery from midfield OR they do not make themselves available enough. I have seen Livermore quite a few times now both on TV and at the Lane and can’t wait for Sandro to be fit! If Livermore is the future why the hell did we sell O’Hara? Still Harry’s at the boot sales now and has already picked up Pienaar (WHY?) perhaps he looked a bargain but when he got him home…well he has space in the garage, he is looking at sticking Joe Cole in there with him and the hot and cold running mercenary ex gooner cnut is now bought in on the cheap too…
Still Harry’s strengths are wheeling and dealing and I do think he is the best manager since Venables. Oooh! Another gor bloimey wide boy….

My late (as always) assessment, it was ok. The kids done well. They all wanted to have a go. Some played very well out of position and overall they all did ok. It’s their first outing and people expect a team of Pele’s. Give them a chance before you lynch them.
Kane did well, and proved that there is another striker at Spurs that Pav is unable to form a partnership with!
Players coming in, expect a few out this week.
Tough game this weekend but even if we lose, things will soon begin to pick up.
Let’s all try and stay true to the cause and ignore the distractions.
