Fresh from the Reebok our Arry was on talkSPORT tonight and a few revelations emerged. Arry didn’t appear to know that Juan Mata was Chelsea bound. Not being cute, but some well placed sources called this a day or two ago.
Off the back of this, Arry immediately announced that to him this meant that any Modric to Second Hand Fridge deal was off.
When asked specifically about Modric, it was interesting that his stance had notably changed since last week. ‘Not for sale’ he said. It would appear that the Chairman has eventually got his message across in an entirely understandable fashion at long last.

Ever since Levy pretty much staked his reputation on Luka staying (over a month ago), giving a little sound-bite out the window of his car, I’ve been pretty convinced the maestro is going nowhere (this window).
All the stupid ‘slip-ups’ from Harry. “Everybody has a price”, “bring in four players” and so on. They haven’t bothered me, because, as I have mentioned on numerous occasions, the comments will not have an impact on this (non)transfer. Levy clearly has the board’s support on this issue. That means that there is only one person who will decide on Modric’s fate – and lucky for us, that man is Levy.
Maybe Chelsea are naive enough to take their cues from the things that dribble out of ‘Arry’s mouth. Perhaps Modders pays heed to what the Sun, Mirror and Mail print about the situation. No f*cking way Levy gives a toss, though.

I feel cheated on, not only by Modric but by Levy for saying none of our top players would be leaving. He actually stopped his car outside WHL and told a Sky Sports reporter “He is not leaving”. Given the Berbatov and Carrick situations in the past I thought Levy had finally grown some balls and meant what he said. I bet a pal (Liverpool Supporter) £10 Modic would still be wearing a Spurs shirt in September and promised myself I would not go and watch Spurs again this season if indeed he did leave. Has anyone else made any stupid bets or promises regarding the Modric Transfer Saga, or was it just me?

Just to let you know, I’m just off to complete sanding down the floor for the new babies room. After running over it with an industrial belt sander, I’ve been using a bit of elbow grease with a fine p120 glass paper. Brings up the grain beautifully.

What type of wood is it? You planning on using an oil-based stain?
I can only assume that when they were putting this lovely place together, the builder went to the yard and asked “Give me 20 planks of the shittiest, knottiest, f***ed-up, rotten timber you have in your yard please sir” and they duly obliged.
