Diarra Deal Also Heading Towards The Toilet

Hello fight fans.

Harumph. Those pesky Spanish and Italians appear determined to wreck Redschnapp’s rescue package.

Apparently, Roma are stepping into the frame in pursuit of Lassana Diarra. The transfer to Tottingham was in the bag we were told by these season’s crop of fresh faced ITK’s. Sadly it appears that the bag has a hole in it.

If Spurs don’t get their act together soon I’ll be looking for a bag with no holes in to stick over my head. Maybe that’s what the blue & yellow was. The hues I’ll go as I asphyxiate myself.

The Italian press are now reporting that our deal collapsed last week and now the Giallorossi are going to step in, not fanny about and sign the chap they need to replace the soon to be off Daniele De Rossi.

So it is realistic that at some point this season we could have Gallas captaining at the back, Diarra through the middle with Adebayor leading the front line?

    How times change

There’s always a numpty around to jump the gun/abuse Wikipedia, since according to the aforementioned site Emmanuel Adebayor is now apparently considered a Tottenham player.

    • LosLorenzo says:

Hehe. Sloppy work though. At the end of the ‘career’ section it still merely says that Harry is interested in signng him on loan.

  • Rene Higuita says:

A reject that is not wanted by the team he played for last year nor by the team that he is contracted to. Been waiting for a striker and this is what we get? Bye bye Modric and Bale

  • Benson says:

God help Levy and Harry if we miss the boat on strikers for yet another window and finish 5th or lower again. Yea we’re progressing little by little but the BS can only go so far before it causes a biteback. Last summer it was “Deals before the WC” and noone came till late on, in January it was “we tried” and the only trying seemed to happen about an hour before the window closed, this summer it was “2-3 big names” well the window is swinging shut and we’ve got a 40 year old keeper…..colour me…well any colour other than POTLs inane blue or yellow

Nicolas Sebastien Anelka (Islamic name: Abdul-Salam Bilal).

Big enough name for us? :ermm:

      • Fatfish says:

I said that earlier on this post (well I just mentioned Anelka, not his full name).

I think that hye could do a good job for us. He is pissed off with Cheatski at not playing him. He wouldn’t cost much in transfer fees, just the usual problem of wages methinks.

      • Benson says:

Scores goals so I’d welcome him it’s just a case of between lying agents, Harry’s contradictions and the club’s dithering we’re being made to look stupid again.

    • Finn says:

I agree Benson, I think the response by one and all last time at the lack of activity and the warning it carried, came to fruition and Levy and Harry need to make good on their end of the deal with the paying public.

We have been told 2-3 players (top top quality players mind)are what we need to push-on this year. No doubt Bale, Modric (we hope) and our stalwarts are also being told, “stick with it there’s more to come”.

Given the downside from an on-the-field point of view along with morale, money generated from getting in the CL again, getting better sponsorships and selling more shirts with big names on and pissing off the fans, you’d think they’d have something lined up or are really cacking it!

Most deals seem to go to the wire with us no doubt being in a chain of buying and selling involving our leavers and potential acquisitions. Its risky doing business this way, but a few million quid is still a few million quid.

But the truth is we have no excuses other than those circumstances we have made for ourselves. If we stuff up this time both Harry and Daniel should expect some serious dissatifaction from just about every quarter!

Hilarious – Fabregas declares that he’ll always be a gunner and will watch every one of their games. 15 minutes after their kick off last night he tweets ‘Last training before el clasico tomorrow. Now relax and sleep early. Good night everybody!’ Legend!
