The worst thing about postponning the Everton game is it extends the pre-season just when we we were all praying for it to end!

I think he was more talking from a point of view of him being his friend. Why would he need to give Keane or the Irish press lip service. The point is he didnt say he should stay with Spurs next season, thus disassociating himself from the team, he said ‘Id like him to stay and play for us‘
