€26M Bid On The Cards

Good Afternoon,

That Dave Cameron’s a card isn’t he… am I alone in wondering if he could safeguard a Tuck Shop?

But first prize at Clown School today has to go to Stan Collymore who genuinely believes that now is the time for cultural icons such as footballers and rappers to step forward and offer to help out ‘the kids’.

Stan, it is one of the reasons that these uneducated subculture scumbags are in this vacum of theft, bullying, violence and misery …they can’t see much beyond the plastic ‘glamour’ of footballers and rappers.

Branches of Waterstones, of all the stores attacked were uniquely left unharmed and this speaks volumes about what’s missing from these people’s lives.

Anyway. Football.

Word from Spain is that the mighty Tottinghams are plotting a €26M bid for the boy Llorente. I’m unconvinced that should this be remotely true that it will happen before we managed to coax – possibly using cattle prods – some of our existing talents out the door.

Bentley should be Blackburn player sometime soon. Defoe is certainly wanted by both Sunderland and Toon who both have cash money on the hip. PSB is probably bound for the midlands but we’re in undisclosed fee territory here.

Is Llorente the answer? Arguably not. But given that many other doors are closing by the minute it will probably be a toss up between him, Adebayor or Benzema.

And all this of course, points quite soundly towards last minute deals.

Again.

Arguably not the answer?????????????????? This guy is Mustard, he´s prolific and exactly the kind of striker we need.
What you fail to take into account was that until last year Bilbao were are middle to bottom of the table team who played some of the worst football out here. He still got into the national team, is constantly linked to far bigger clubs than us (eg Real) and is rated much higher than Torres. Frankly if we get him I will be absouletly amazed.
And forget about Benzema hes reals first choice striker, he´s scoring for fun in preseason and Mourinho has already taken credit for his transformation.

I really wish we would sign anyone, how about Anelka..!! Man, I just want Diarra, Benzema, Samba and Ruiz, not much hey..or 2 of them 4 if one is Benzema and the other is Diarra.. Please please please don’t sell Jenas, he is so underated…!!!!

    • Super Spurs says:

i agree jenas is underrated, everyone says he is awful, but really he is absolutley awful! maybe keep him to play in the carling cup though, unless some club actually wants to pay money for him.

      • The V says:

No.. No.. he’s really really awful. And that’s still underrating just how awful he is.

Lovely boy though. He would be great if you could just have a “floating floater” as a 12th, almost hidden, player. He could pop up in attack and break down any attempt at goal and he could do the “man faking a quick run while crossing a busy road” while drifting back into defence only to put off the back four any ricochet into his own net.

Yes, you are right, he does do that now.

        • spurious supporter says:

I’m hoping that Daniel sees him as the answer to all Tottenham’s problems……….

and gives him a stiff broom and fucks him off up the High Road.

      • SPURSINCE82 says:

        hahaha

    • EnfSpurs says:

He isnt bad but he isnt very good but i agree i would not sell jenas as he has been there from our europa league exits to 2 points 8 games to playing at the san siro against inter. DONT SELL JENAS he loves the club and accepts he place in the team a true spurs player.

TBH I saw Llorente on Saturdays kick-around and he didn’t impress me. I think 26m is too much for what I reckon is another sad effort to improve our squad. I prefer the elephant washer’s son! BTW, wasn’t the second half squad we fielded a bit tasty?

    • nicktheyid says:

your avin a bubble aint ya! llorente held the ball kept the ball and passed the ball and everything went through him.what did our super pav do……….answers on a postcard.if pav was on a spot the ball card on my kitchen table id put a cross in my front garden!

  • Bobbles says:

£26m seems a lot for someone we’ll probably be booing by Christmas.

Defoe looks like the best of our lot at the moment, so can’t see him going.

I’d settle for Adebayor, I think it will make sense for all parties by bank holiday weekend.
