Where to start with this one?

Meltdown at the Lane! Club in crisis.!Manager loses dressing room! John Cross from The Mirror has just Tweeted that Luca Modric asked not to be played prior to this afternoon’s spanking. Jeremy Wilson of the Torygraph has now added that this request was ‘two hours before the game.”

So we have an insurrection on our hands boys. If this isn’t a mess, it’ll do til one gets here.

Have said this before but it is no good us having Bale and Lennon on the touchlines when we do not have the ball as we have only 2 left in CM and the opposition pass it around us for fun.
Playing the 2 wide players is great when we have the ball and are on top but when we do not have it we do not pressure the opposition and have no means of getting it back.
Think City could have played keep ball all day yesterday if they had wanted.
Even against weaker terams we sometines struggle to get the ball off them but the difference yesterday was City had strikers who could damage us.

we have injuries left right and center, played 2 of the best sides and title contenders in the country with a make shift side and lost, theres a hole season to look forward with everything to play for, why all this panic.

    • eastanglianspur says:

It’s not a panic, it’s fans commenting on the annual transfer window fuck ups that Levy manages create every season start. :-D

  • Spurlative says:

Its all about relativity! We are to Wolves, What City are to us. But wolves can still beat us.
    Thats the point.
We are smaller than we think we are. “the best squad in the league’ ‘great players at the club’ The reason why there is so much of that talk is because its compensation for the failure to fulfill the potential that we have.

  • CornishYid says:

We all seem to be talking about getting Redsnapps out, has anybody got a plan of action to make it happen?

    • eastanglianspur says:

Yes, get the new stadium built, Levy will sell up and take Old Redders with him. Arabs or Chinks will buy us and put money into the club.

Hiddink will then be our manager.

We hypnotize him and convince him he’s a hit-man, his targets are a Russian and an Arab, and he’s working for the FBI (Bloody Yanks), well I’m sure well be the CL the season after next if all went well!

I blame the governing bodies of football – fraudulent, paid off, antiquated and anti-english – now sitting idly by as oligarchs ruin the beutiful game.
What was bad enough as a pecking order of haves and have nots is now an abject joke. An inequitable hierarchy (where the Wigans of the world knew theyd never win the league and celebrated staying up as if they’d won the cup), remains a competition of various competitions, but now the top end has a financial steroid blasted into its ass. The classless nouveau riche are now gazumped by a Sheikh whose taken the idea of buying success while losing money and run w/ it, all the while shitting all over the game of football.
It will never happen, but I long for some sort of salary cap. Or in the alternative, a sytem that allows carte blance spending ONLY IF SUPPORTED BY REVENUES.
What ever happened to the financial fair play rules inacted recently? Shouldn’t that preclude man city from the CL?

    • Exile says:

Etihad (national airline of somewhere) spent millions on the naming rights for Eastlands which counts as revenue. That helps balance out the spending on the team. Financial Fair Play: Simples!
