(as DM) better than Huddlestone
second to Sandro but he is still out and after recovery lacking match fittness. I think Parker is best and SAFEST DM we can get…
He ain’t triffic but he is a lot better than some we have got, or even the ones that we get shot of.
For years we had probs getting a good DM, along came Sarge, Thudd, Sandro, Livermore and now we might be getting Parker.
Anyone recall the time hen we had about 14 m/f’s under Jol. That’s the wonderful thing about following this team, the more they stay the same, and that’s without even mentioning that we have Hutton, Corluka, Walker and occasionally, Kaboul at right back, and last year and this, we have three international G/k’s. We also have Bale and Broadway at l/wing, but to be on the safe side, we have also bought Falque (never heard of him before yesterday and his Wikipedia entry leaves me perplexed as to why we got him).
Anyone recall that when HR took over, he said it was the most “unbalanced” squad he had ever seen.

problem for me is, that Harry will have yet another ‘ chum ‘ that will play irrespective of form (see Crouch Defoe VDV BALE) even if it is to the detriment of other more than capable willing runners / ballers.
I am going to remain optimistic, as its the start of the season and we need to give everyone a chance to prove them selves first.
