What Did The Brass Polisher Say To The Barber?

I am indebted to Citizens Fatfish and Seppoyiddo for supplying some of the most excellent caption competition fodder in living memory –  Salute.

And so here is the first in a – be warned – rapid fire succession of funny bone seeking snaps.

Pictured is the happy go lucky 3MP having his Barnet done courtesy of a local man who’s premises were looted by some animals that broke free last week.

Last time I looked the old boy had £35,000 squeezed into his sky rocket courtesy in large part to the wit of Björn, Sophie and Omid at Bartle Bogarty Hegarty who kick started an online appeal to aid the uninsured 89 year old tonsorial artist. Quality work :daumen:

Anyway he’s trousered loads, crisis averted, so let’s get merciless on Pet’s boney behind. Innit.

Best caption wins The London Eye. This high profile London landmark comes complete with a nearby river and lots of buildings that scattered nearby for convenient viewing.

Your ownership pack include a large tin badge bearing the legend, ‘Do You Like My Eye?’ , some photos of the Eye and some paperwork. All entrants must be either on their lunch hour or at a loose end.

As Redknapp said himself said at the start of all this, if we start selling our best players then we may as well go home and pack it in now. End of. Others will want to leave and you’ll be a also ran. They sell Modric now then we may as well stop hoping to be a top side again. What’s the point in believing in your club, which with done for so many years, that has it all in their grasp only to sell out and crumble back into playing for no honours.

How he can say ‘we all love our club blah blah blah’ When he’s already openly slated the fans and spent his whole time talking about Spurs as ‘Them’ not ‘Us.’ He clearly knows the long term plan doesnt effect him because he’ll be off to the England job or to the next ‘earner.’ If he’s saying these things about Modric able to earn these mega bucks and ‘its hard’ in the public arena imagine what he’s saying to him in private.

Harrys always followed the money and and he’s telling Modric he cant blame him for doing the same. Thats not doing all you can for the club youre paid to manage, and not helping to ‘build a tema to win the championship.’

Lets hope it is just hot air and Levy has his eye firmly focused on HIS long term ambition for Spurs, backed up with the signings to show we’re not wimping out here. Lets hope Adebayor is comfirmed today with Diarra and more to follow. COYS
