the world cup and euros happen in the summer,how else do you suppose we qualify for them,
i’m genuinely interested to know,most of my generation grew up with international england just as important as club football so i disagree with you
if you don’t like it fine but its far from pointless,i remember when you used to post about england ganes in your early days,how times change
not everyone supports elite clubs and i’d rather watch summer tournaments than the fix up that is euorpean club football like the CL anyday
Slight Disagreement. I remember when the England team was the most important team in the country, and how we would pride ourselves at the number of players we provided for the squad.

Your right, they do actually get a fee for playing but they collectively donate the fee to various charities selected. Again something the press often fail to mention when slating them.
