That’s what our tight lipped, ashen faced supremo had to say on matters. I’d say this was Wigan, not a Manchester side. As discussed previously, Wigan aren’t very nice at playing football. Heaven only knows what their table manners are like.

not being funny but if we were looking for an old fashioned big bustling centre forward.Kaboom could fit the bill.He attacks that ball with his head and is hard to be knocked off the ball and plays with passion.Just sayin thats all. :blink:
No Kaboul is not growing on me yet, this was his first decent performance of the season apart from just letting the guy turn, leaving the guy and letting him shoot for their goal. Poor defending. Down to BAE yes but equally Kaboul should not have let him have a free shot.
agree on his part for their goal, but was only making an observation on him going forward.he has scored for us on occasions when he has moved up.Usually with a crucial header,1 or 2 I remember.winner v arse .equaliser v villains 4-4
Personally I thought Parker missed a better chance at disposessing Diame before he turned. Oh, and neither of them should have been in that position in the first place. I’m a huge fan of A&E, but that was also a fundamental and unneccesary mistake.
However, towards the end of the game I did think both Kaboom and the King were too reluctant to get stuck into the first challenge as Wigan started to hoof it up, letting the ball drop and causing some chaotic and tense moments. We missed Dawson in those last 15 minutes.
But all is well that ends well.
I’ve liked Kaboom ever since he hit that rocket against Villa in the 4-4 and ran straight for Martin Jol. The man is all passion and there’s got to be a place for that in the game these days. He’s gradually taking the mad moments out of his game and becoming a positive asset.
Kaboom is Martin Jols secret son.

friedel has had nothing to do since the 2 mancs games and GOMES would have least saved 4 of them.Freidel is solid but not agile or as sharp in his reaction as Octoman.I miss him too.also Freidel is more ugly than Gomes is ugly.
I wonder if anyone knows exactly how many serious gaffs Gomes made last season. It may be that his sensational world class saves far outweighed his mistakes
