Ultras At The Lane

Gooda mornin’.

A special welcome to any Rover fans who might be dropping by in the next 24 hours. We trust you enjoy your stay and manage to resist the urge to hospitalize yourselves on our half price beer.

Word from Arry Redschnapps is that this side will contain [and I quote] “seven or eight Internationals.” Well Arry if you can be bothered then what the heck, so can I. See you on Channel 5 my old son.

So there is a distinct possibility of a football match breaking out this time around? We’ll have to wait and see. Super Roman Crazypavinchenko is likely to run out again and hopefully an Azza Blud/Krankie combo will dramatically improve his game.

He’s taken a few volleys of abuse of late. I’m convinced he’s a quality striker. That said I’m increasingly convinced he’s at the wrong club and perhaps in the wrong League. He’s not getting either the breaks or the time and if he scores 3 tonight it’ll be the old, …it was only against…

Dos Santos is another likely starter and given his sensational cameos in the Copa America, if he does naff all again his problem is straightforwardly Arry. A few booze hound tales and a snap of him collapsed in the Daily Mail and who wouldn’t believe he was a waster? But his performances  in the Summer were frequently breathtaking.

I’m Carlos Tevez and answering the iron was my idea.

Pav’s purely a striker. Can hit with both feet. Needs to be somewhat nearer the goal when hem does though. Basically can do phuck all else.

Saw him head a goal last year – against Blackburn I think. It was his 4th or 5th attempt at getting one on target though.

You are right – he is a bit one dimensional. A ‘one trick pony’ is the term I believe. Target man he ain’t – the PL demands more of it’s strikers than ‘goal hanging’ however.

Right – I can’t hold it in any longer:

I LOVE THE UEFA CUP / VASE / THINGY!!!

How else are our best young talents and bench-warmers going to be able to play against decent opposition in front of a sizeable crowd in competitive games…

The CL was obviously the nuts but this UEFA lark has got its benefits…

(OK – let the opprobrium commence…)

    ;)

      Good for you! Splendid fellow!

My view, too! Chuck out the opprobium and laudatio incipete (let the praise begin!) What some emperor might have uttered on the way to the Colosseum…

No better testing ground than the UEFA competition. Plus there’s summat to be said for that under 19 competition in which our lads are on top of their group. Seems like things are beginning to click into place. Good on you, Danny boyoh!

We’ll have Tevez soon. Don’t worry.

I came across this in my aimless brousing. I thought it funny.

God help us next season if he writes about the beautiful Haringey skyline.

Sign him up as a friend. HH. Before he dishes the dirt.
