Good afternoon fight fans and welcome to a brave new world.

Will this work? Well if drinking Heineken and getting to the pub early shows attention to detail then success in is guaranteed.

So the box below should be live when I hit the button with the prong attached to my forehead. I say a brave new world but we’ve been here before.  I remember doing a few of these on OleOle. One was good and I think our old mucker Lord Of The Wing put some class of a Caledonian hex on another  :-D

I’m looking for the Harry Bangers but can’t seem to find any. Just off to look under the sofa cushions…. Nope not there. Anyway, we just made a team that beat Chelsea last week look like a bunch of toerags. Anyone want a fight cause i’m up for one! COYS :-p

It’s not about Trouty it’s about the team … and that’s not down to Trouty who has become an ITV panel show whore, and a blot on his own SPURS copybook. Trouty is still a lucky boy. If he had his way we would be fielding the long tall circus man Crouchieeee and offside boy.

          @39 39 39

Jesus wept. Nineteen points from the last 21. That ain’t just top-four form — that’s title-winning form. And still the manager gets criticised.

          Unbe-fuckin’-lievable.

With this squad, we should be challenging for the title, but none of you happy clappers really believe that do you?

    • Hartley says:

It looks like Sir Les is starting to work his magic with Ade boy, he was feckin awful today. Parker, VdV and Bale were outstanding and overall we were very, very good apart from the first 15 minutes of the second half, wonder what his holiness said to them at half time?
Oh and I stuck a tenner on 3-1 at 10 to 1….. :daumen:

      • UnkleKev says:

Feckin awful was he? He pulled their defenders all over the place, played a major part in two of our goals and on another day could have had a hat-trick himself. If that’s feckin awful give me feckin awful every time.

        • Hartley says:

That would be Peter Crouch………and I for one don’t want him back. Ade was awful today, our worst player! Looked disinterested, didn’t hold the ball up too well, missed a couple of sitters, need I go on….

        • Hartley says:

How is “and on another day could have had a hat-trick himself” a positive? That’s like saying “and Friedel could have saved all 3 goals against Yanited” :hae:

        • Hartley says:

Sorry UncleKev, but I think you need to watch the match again…..”played a major part in 2 of our goals” ??? I won’t deny he was involved but ‘a major part’ don’t think so. I was sat next to my wife at WHL and she hates anything and everything Ar5ena1 so thought my ‘real life’ judgement may have been influenced but I am now watching the Sky version and he was shit……VdV is GOD…

        • Hartley says:

And what seemed like an awful 15 minutes after half time turned out to be a good 25 minutes……thank the lord we were only playing QPR :shifty:

        • Hartley says:

When I say ‘good’ I mean time wise, an awful, good 25 minutes…..just to clear things up….

    • essexian76 says:

;-) Silence is golden, butwere they a ‘proper’ team?

  • Sid Trotter says:

A pinch of flour, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 lemon rind, a dusting of icing sugar, 3 bottles of Shiraz and a sausage roll – good times at the Lane indeed

  • Lordofthewing says:

HH, did you launch the event on the cover it live dashboard?

  • cant believe all the dickheads on here who still badmouth harold, all i can say is u must have no memories, scintillating football were playin, best in yrs and the steam still has so much potential…question how are we gonna replace him,not how do we get rid of him

A joyous (or Jotous in Toddspurs case) afternoon. We made it hard for ourselves after the break but even in our pomp in the first half, it always looked there were another couple of gears to shift into.

Good too see everyone contribute and nice to see Lennon, VDV, Modders, Ade & Baler constantly changing positions. Total football Tottenham style. Parker was incredible and rightly earned his ovation at the end. Please, no more of these Harry’s lucky jibes, he proved us all well and truly wrong with PNB.

Quarter of the way in, we’re so far ahead of our position last year it’s silly, the team are playing with smiles on their faces, a game in hand away from 3rd & 1 point off ManUre, and even Modders looks like he’s quietly glad he chose chicken badge. Long may it continue.

An interesting fact off the BBC site…

“Spurs are now unbeaten in last 17 PL London derby matches at White Hart Lane (11 wins), since 3-1 defeat to Arsenal in Sep 07.”

A couple of times I thought I saw a couple of Arthur ROWE push and run moves. Some of our touches and moves were breathtaking.Benni gave Barton a couple of sly tugs that left him on the deck wondering how that happened when his intention was to clatter the afro man from behind.Good all round performance but miss Gomes personally.
