Good morning.

Max Boyce, Timothy Dalton, T E Lawrence, Sian Lloyd, Ruth Madoc, Harry Secombe, Laura Ashley, Shakin’ Stevens, Tommy Cooper, Roger Glover, Lloyd George can you hear me?!!!

Practically of course that would present a myriad of obstacles on so many levels. But I fancied a war cry.

After the performance at Carrow Road one would guess that Arry has our fearless lads not to get ahead of themselves, but this is very much for the taking.

Brendan Rodgers will be getting his lot organised as best he can to deal with the obvious danger areas. Gareth Bale’s left foot and Gareth Bale’s right foot.

Swansea are not a bad gang. The pass well. They keep the ball on the floor. An area they are short in however is attack. But defensively the Liberty Stadium is pretty fortress like. Only 3 goals conceded there so far. Mmmn. Three.

Team news? Defoe & King could be involved.

Prediction: Not liking their defensive record. Not one bit.  Oh stuff it. We’re playing like Kings. Well, minor royals with a spring in their step. 0-2. The scoreline of champions.

Amid all this negativity a word for Swansea: I thought they were excellent and competed with proper football. A credit to their manager and a refreshing antidote to the Wolverblackstoke Wanderers school of hoof (Huth?) and hope.
At the hour mark I thought their legs might go and we would ease away but their stamina was impressive. Disappointing result but not a disaster.

Have to agree with you,I thought in an open game we would hammer them, but Swansea defended high and impressed me.I feel that the dreaded complacency might be creeping in after that great display against Norwich.
Tottenham were the only team to let me down on a 5 result accm and were by far the shortest price, double gutted.

    Terrible goal to concede.

Any result away from home is a result, and no question about it that Swansea deserved their point. Said beforehand that if you allowed them possession in the middle, we’d struggle and we did. We never retained the ball or took our chances when offered, but it’s another away point and I cannot recall us ever having 6 away wins at the years end..ever!
