I apologise for repeating what was posted in the wee hours of the morning of the 27th. I do so only in support of the spirit of HH’s remarks.
My argument is that our results indicate that the squad now has the experience, which creates the confidence, which results in the steel and determination that one associates with top, top clubs. Two more years like this one, with the training facility in full operation, the stadium on the way to completion [dare one hope for it to be operational almost immediately as the original plan indicated?], and the squad incrementally strengthened, Spurs will be in permanent orbit around the CL, etc.

Yes and that is the real miracle: That we are up there challenging amongst the best teams in Europe with such very limited resources.
As you say, come the new stadium and we will show what we can do when we are playing on a level field.
Harsh on Walker, he is a right back, right winger and right midfielder rolled into one.
Still very young, still improving (12 months ago he was our fourth choice right back) and he will become a right sided Roberto Carlos.
Forgot to mention, on the subject of yoof, Steven Caulker is 20 tomorrow and plays every game for Swansea.
What a performance,It all came good last night.It was the first time we managed to sustain the quick short passing game at a high tempo for the whole 90 minutes,and the defence always seemed to have an extra man.Giving Bale what seemed like a free role was masterful and will surely make other defences so unsure,now there will be a lot of space about as they won’t know where the attack will come from.Its all quite emotional really
