Went into my local cafe this morning. I ordered a cheese roll and a cheese roll promptly arrived. It wasn’t the best of cheese rolls, in fact it was pretty awful, but it was what I ordered, although it could’ve been better. The upside is, in buying a cheese roll, I saved a few bob, so when that offer of a prime steak sandwich comes about, I’ll be able to afford it and enjoy it all the better!
are you saying that you got exactly what you wanted? or that you can’t always get what you want? I was never good with allegories. Unless you’re just talking about cheese rolls – in which case carry on.
