Image for Levy Reveals Actual Cost Of Olympic Stadium Bid At AGM

Good morning.

The AGM is underway and thanks to the power of Twitter some info is already out.

@BenPearceSpurs is aSports journalist covering Spurs and other teams/sportspeople for the Tottenham Journal, Ham&High, Hackney Gazette and London24.com.

In summary as far as the England job and our fearless manager are concerned, Levy stated that Arry has 18 months remaining on his contract.

An interesting figure that I’m pleased to see in the public domain at last is that the failed Olympic Stadium bid cost the Club £1.7m.

So to all the Moaning Minnies out there, please look at this figure in footballing terms, not as if someone had just picked it from your own pocket.

The NDP? Great quote from Citizen Levy,  ‘Failure is not an option. We will find a way to get this project done’.

Forgive me for going off topic but something is bothering me…After the Stoke game one of the contributors to the HH blog (i cant remember who it was nor can i now find it) posted a link to chris foy’s wiki page, on that page it was stated that foy is a stoke fan. I’m sure i didnt imagine that…I saw it with my own eyes…today, returning to recap the evidence, i find that he now supports Everton! has the wiki entry been changed or did i imagine the whole thing, my son is convinced i’m going senile, someone please help!

    :wassat:

      Is Everton his next match?

    • skankehmonkeh says:

Check the wiki page “This page was last modified on 11 December 2011 at 19:31.” I would say some funny chap edited his page, to imply he supports Stoke, after the match, then it was subsequently edited back to show he supports Everton. That’s just my theory though.

Interestingly, Foy was the referee in last season’s game against Stoke, when he apologised to Pulis after the game for not giving a goal to Stoke in the closing minutes after a Walters’ shot appeared to cross the line…

Which f*cking moron appointed him as ref, again, this season?! He clearly “owed them one” in his own mind…

        • devonshirespur says:

Probably nit just in his mind either….no doubt Pullis had a little word before hand, something along the lines of

Pullis: “I hope you;re not going to have to apologise to me again after the game Chris”

Foykhead: “No, I’ll do everything in my powers to keep you happy. Harry hasn’t moaned about refs in 30 years, so i’ll get off lightly if i upset him”

Thanks skanks, so it’s possible that i’m not going crazy…if that “funny chap” happens to be a spurs supporter then he must have heard of the super crazy HH blog he or she should drop a little hint as to what happened! Interesting point Alspur, makes you wonder how much engineering goes on behind the scenes.

    • Fromoursoutheastasiacorrespondent says:

Perhaps he is suffering the same malady as PSB “It has always been my dream to play referee for my boyhood team”

  • AFelching says:

    In Danny we trust :daumen:

    • TMWNN says:

      Speak for yourself. :daumen:

    • Hartley says:

In Daniel we trust indeed! For those that don’t agree I ask this simple question….would you rather we had a classless, self indulgent, media whore-ing, conceited chairman lacking any football knowledge whatsoever and very limited financial skills but a certain amount of luck in business (Alan Sugar) with a technical, tactical, played the game at the highest level, manager always looking over his shoulder as to whether his next game will be his last (Terry Venables, Ossie Ardiles, George Graham) or a laid back, financially competent, classy, forward thinking, football knowledgeable, reserved with the media chairman (in Daniel we trust) with a loud mouth, extremely lucky, media whore seeking, played football at a level best described as average, untactical, untechnical, won one trophy in 30 years, soon to be imprisoned, ginger haired twitchy TWAT?………

After Levy stating today that no top players will be sold,I hear Sandro is off to United to sort out their mid field problem. Its gonna be a long transfer window having to read and listen to so many rumours plucked out of thin air.Its a worry though,as the media seem determined to prove that we are still a selling club

    • Alspur says:

“We’ve got a great squad, we’ve got some exceptional talent and I can only say what Harry’s already said – that none of the top players will be going in January,” Levy said. “We’ve made it clear that none of the main players will be going.”

Read my lips: the Levy’s not for turning!!!

      ;)
