Good morning.

Things got twitchy online yesterday with the complete and utter media shut down on the Cheltenham Town game. Probably just as well. Dare I tell you the atmosphere at The Lane yesterday is being described by experts who attended as ‘tepid’?

But we won, the Double is on. People are throwing their hats in the air so joyously the vast majority have not even stopped to consider marking the lining with  their name and/or a contact detail.

The whole shebang was made worse by the torturous and overwhelmingly feeble ITV show. Presented by some failed supply teacher, Paul Ince who’s so clearly out of his comfort zone when he’s not being a thug and Gordon Strachan in a £8 shirt.

Horrible show with video production values one might more readily expect from someone being held hostage filming covertly on a cell phone.  So well done to the FA. If it gets really nippy this winter I hear fifties burn off more heat than lower denominations.

If i were Harry i`d be on the blower with Neil Warnock, lending sopport and sounding him out in a scouting capacity for us. If we need a temp manager for a short time he could then step in, believe me he is much better than Hughes, but as i say for a short time only.

    The double?

Espanyol 0-1 Barcelona (Fabrigas 15mins) If Barca win 3-0 they have same GD as Real but 3 points behind, with El Classico to come at the Nou Camp once they are Champions again and European Champions Maurinho will move to London to complete unfinished buisness.

Watford next. We should be able to put out our second string again, which means that we should not have fixture probs later on, and have a reasonably fresh team through to the end of the season.
