Good afternoon.

Some four hours to go and if we’re honest the confidence, the exuberance that evaporated so cruelly last week has been difficult to summon up again. And that’s just for us who don’t have the responsibility of actually wearing the Chicken Badge.

It’s so important that we not only put last week behind us, but ensure that we play the Tottenham way. Keep the ball on the floor, entwine precision with pace and get back to playing the type memorable football that has had every pundit this side of the Great Wall of China cooing all season.

We know that Parker is missing, but we’re not a one man team and Sandro is not just admired for his self defence skills. I always feel that the games against Manchester United really reflect how we’ve done. A snapshot of a season in one game.

I use United because of all the clubs we play they have been so depressingly consistent, so depressingly succussful that as barometers go, they are a decent one.

The ‘gap’ was closed from 10 points to 4 yesterday. And the Woolwich having eaten so hungrily into that will be on the lads minds as much as anything else. So let’s see a nice, simple, straightforward approach where we keep our heads and keep our momentum.

Arry for England, the sooner for Spurs the better!!! The man has ran out of ideas and we maybe in 3rd now but we are taking on water and going to start sinking fast.

I want Keith Burkinshaw back and Vicky Gomersall sitting on my face…………that ain’t gonna happen either (or make much difference).

I’m not overly fond of the uncertainty going on and it’s probably not helping, but I think it’s an easy accusation.

Today we were naive, cursed by our supernatural inability to beat Man Utd, and caught out by a lack of concentration.

But what I didn’t see was a lack of effort or heart. In fact until the third goal went in I saw a hell of a lot of snapping around and fighting hard for everything. Sucker punches happen.

Which seems to debunk the idea that the players can’t be arsed because Harry is off soon.

Strongly disagree. Thought we were borderline disgraceful for the last 20 mins. It was by far our worst spell in the game. I can understand the frustration in playing really well and being 3-0 down undeservedly. But for the players to fax it in like they did is unacceptable.

Yeah I agree, but the game was up by then. 3-0 undeservedly and I think even with the uncertainty, you could imagine a lot of teams doing likewise.

Don’t think the uncertainty caused it.

I can’t remember two other games on the bounce where pretty much every effort on goal our opponents have had, have ended up in the ack of our net. Scum last week, pretty much every effort went in and the same again his week.

Last 3 performances have been nothing short of disgraceful. Let’s have it right here, Harry IS the next England manager and the players know it. Would you perform to the best of your ability for a manager who quite clearly has his heart set on a new career?? Nope! And to think it’s the same person who convinced Modric of turning down a lucrative contract and CL football at Chelsea…”no Luka, you can’t leave us but soon as I get a better offer I’ll be on my bike” its almost laughable. I applaud Harry for what he has done for us but it could all be ruined come May if we continue playing like we don’t have a clue!!! If Arsenal finish above us then it will truly be a total embarrassment…..their worst season under Wenger and still are on our tails. We are very lucky that Chelsea are so shite. With Harry off to England and Modric almost certainly leaving (which if reports are true would also mean Bale would leave) I can’t help but think our time of glory will be over as quick as it came and before we start masterbating over Harry we need to remember he has won fuck all for spurs, yes we are in a better position but he is a million miles away from Fergie, Wenger, Mourinho, Benitez,, Dalgleish, George Graham have achieved in English football.
