Lord Sugar Knows What’s Happening With Arry

Good morning.

Taylor Herring PR Tweeted earlier this morning to tell us,

“… we’ve a busy morning with @Lord_Sugar who’s editing next week’s@RadioTimes. First stop Spurs to meet Harry Redknapp.”

Lord Sugar himself chipped in a little later,

‘Full day today editing the Radio Times, off now to interview Harry Redknapp. Hope to get a scoop. “

And then just a few minutes ago Alan Michael Twin Cassette added,

“Interview with Harry Redknapp went well,I got scoop for next weeks Radio Times. Cant disclose now but I get his definite answer on Euro 2012.”

So there you have it. Whilst the peer may have been sworn to secrecy, what we do know is that a decision has been made. By someone.

If it’s not in the interests of the Club to replace Arry with so few games to go, then is it not equally in the interests of the Club for him to share his decision over the England job as soon as he has made it?

I have seen this very prose somewhere before…

Have we at long last discovered the true identity of POTL?

Seriously, I would be profoundly surprised if this is any more that a man plugging his work with any old dirty trick.

That said, I would be happy if ‘Arry has given a “definite answer”, because the only real option then is that he has decided against it. He’s the front runner, sure, but he’s not (quite) in a position where he can just say “alright then, I’ll take England to the Euros”. The FA do have to offer it to him first, in which case Sugar would have to get his “scoop” from them, not ‘Arry.

Maybe I’m wrong. We’ll see naxt week. But right now I’m pretty sure the “scoop” is just another ‘Arry quote saying “I would have to consider it if they offered it to me, but I also have a debt to pay to Spurs. It’s a tough one… Scholesy is a top, top lad.”

LosLorenzo I would love it if what you say were true and that he has decided not to go for the job (this would fit in really as i dont think he would say ‘yes’ to alan sugar, what with all the complications that would come with saying yes). This was also my first thought when I read this blog.

However my fear is that this will all turn out to be cobblers and AMS is just trying to stoke the fire and sell some copies of Radio Times

Yeah right….all will be revealed in that well know football ITK ‘Radio times’.
Is it only me that recognises a ‘buy my mag for an exclusive’ promo stunt?
Although I do recall seeing an article in the RT last season announcing that Spurs wer getting Benzema …deffo.

          Stupot,

I think LosLorenzo is just re-hashing an old joke stemming from a claim/suggestion/rumour which was reported/made (not neccessarily exclusively) on here a few windows back.

          I think. Los? :ermm:

A running joke on this blog. Don’t worry your pretty little head about it.

At least Sugar hasn’t made everybody tetchy that’s the main thing.

All you need to know about Sugar is that he’s a friend of Piers Morgan.

  • Billy Legit says:

Sir Alan Beardface: So Mr Redknapp, do you think the fiscal economic policy of the European Union in conjunction with the Bundesbank could see a progressive downturn in the manufacturing output of the heavily debt-laden, unprivatised base within Greece, Portugal, Spain and Ireland?

Twitchy: Yes Sir Alan, Joe Hart would be my choice for the England No 1 spot.

Sir Alan Beardface: Give me strength………..

Twitchy: Yeah, but like I said all along, it was Rosie what did it – Europe’s not been the same since she went over there & opened that bank account…
