well i did say on this site last summer that as he would be gone at the end of the year, either for england or at her majesty’s etc, we should just get rid and have a new guy start to build his squad. i was ridiculed by many and in the autumn i thought i should eat my words, he would have a cl team to hand over to the next guy. now we are getting all the same shit self serving crap we got at the end of last season, and while the special one and fergie were not available to us i still say that with our squad they would win or be close to winning this league (poorest utd side in a decade) and so that, to my mind, lays the responsibility very squarely at the door of the manager. the man with a a view and comment on anything and everything but scarcely a smart word to be heard
