Predict The Results Of The Last 4 Games

Good afternoon.

This is straightforward enough. We’ve 4 games left which could net a maximum of 12 points. The manager says he’s confident of winning all four games.

Here are my thoughts.

Blackburn. Blackburn’s miserable season has now reached the point whereby they are reliant on someone else committing hari kari. Which is unlikely. The fact they did Norwich is surreal. My guess on current form is 1-1.

Bolton. If only to lessen the likelihood of me having to listening to tinnitus voice of Owen Coyle mumbling on and on in over earnest tones about Mabrice Fuamba and the, ‘Parklays Bremiership’ I #pray for them to go down. 1-1

Villa. A truly lackluster season from team with endless pretensions that usually ends up bumping about like a mid-table ghost ship. Is Alex McLeish hard done by or…who cares? What an utterly pointless football club. This is likely to be a little messy but on current form 0-0.

Fulham Ha. With BMJ on the premises if the previous three games have gone wonky this could be like watching a car crash in slow motion. On a loop. Fulham have had a pretty decent season and their recent form is decent. On current form  maybe 2-1.

So hoping for 12 points, picturing 6.

Your votes then…

Beat Blackburn, then just as we all get excited at the imminently returning Glory days, we’ll lose at Bolton – followed by two draws to sum up the lacklustre second half of our season. Shame we can’t use Sky Plus rewind facility to go back to January……….

I’m finding it very hard to care

I’m going for the miracle of twelve points.

After reading the Times article on ‘Arry today, I think he will start to worry about not getting the England job and make the changes that everybody is shouting about.

My glass is still half full. But I refused two tickets for Blackburn ‘cos I haven’t the bottle to spend another £80 quid for a miserable day out.

The semi and QPR have done for me, I’m afraid.

    Get a grip ‘Arry.

I was in England for a couple of weeks and went to the Norwich game and the semi. Spent a fortune just to be more miserable than usual.

Kudos to those who waste their money on a weekly basis in the name of the (lost?) cause.

Beat Blackburn, the confidence will come flooding back and we’ll win all four. So twelve points is my prediction.

When Martin Jol was interviewed after the Fulham Arsenal game he spent as much time talking about the favour they’d just done Spurs as he did talking about the fact they’d won. In spite of the way he was treated it’s clear he still has us very close to his heart and if we go into that game needing a win to secure fourth spot he might just as well take a seat on our bench as I’m convinced he’ll be doing everything he can to help us out.
