I used to work in the rag trade about 100 years ago. We used to get these occasional calls from Gerry. The head honcho. Le Grande Fromage. ‘You know Harry, it gives me no pleasure to make these calls.’
You know the drill… your heart sank as you knew he had taken seriously some idiot so empowered by their own sense of self importance that they had punctured the cognisance of a man who was simply, probably – naively- trying to do the right thing.
That’s how I’ve felt for some time now. I’m Gerry making one of those calls. The difference being that this call isn’t representing a complaint from some random mardy arse. I’ve watched the same games as have you. I know that the complaint is valid. And that something urgently needs to be done.
Jol was lovable but a bit naive. This guy Arry is an unlovable tactical car crash on roller skates.

HR is f**king us up so it will be easy for him to go for England job. we play best with 4411 or 442, so why is he playing 433 with 1 stiker??? and the u wait for 10min to go then change it. he must a bet or will get pay for us not to finish in the top4 or money on future sale of players.

Team selection based on playing at Wembley – I can’t see any other reason. Ledlegs Ledley picked to play against a man who has been a handful all season,when we’ve all seen that he can’t hack the pace any more. Saha was a bad January acquisition… poor touch and little effective movement. If we played 442 I kinda thought that meant Bale on the left… and all too often again he drifts all over the place trying to play as a striker….which in the end limits the supply to Defoe,who needs ball at feet from his wide/central midfield colleagues, as evidenced by his goal.
I think Arry has shown he isn’t up to managing England or Spurs for much longer….he can’t deal with life when the pressure is on.
I said it on the site some weeks ago after the Arse/Man U defeats… my money is on him not having a job with England or Spurs at the end of this season.
Why so many Arry Aters on here? Wasnt he the man up until Spurs got manhandled and strangled at the Emirites?
