When Lennon missed the early chance and Sandro hit the bar I really thought its going to be 0-0 or worse 1-0 to Blackburn. But thank god they are REALLY shit. Score should have been 4-0 but we won and got 3 points. Did Ade have any kind of scoring chance ? He was unselfish for VDV goal but apart from that ???. Probably been said many times before but it gets my goat when players like Bale, Modric want to jump ship if there’s no CL footie next year…..Ahem, remind me which team you were playing for at the time that you failed to qualify? So who failed to qualify if not the players themselves? Not your fault then, didn’t miss any sitters, no shots into Row X.
Here here, the modern player these days want to walk into a team that is already winning trophies, and feel they achieved something. I can understand the desire to be at a club that can challenge, but evidently we were challenging until they let their heads drop. And now they want out? Just greed masquerading as ambition. If they said “I’m a professional footballer, I want to go to a team where I can still start but also earn more money in my short career”, I think strangely people might respect that.
You seem to have a hate campaign backed up by nothing but your own whims against our manager and our best player. Do you really expect everyone to play like messi every game? Not even messi does that.
