Good afternoon.

Never a dull moment, eh? Thirty nine goals in seventy six appearances for FC Twente. The boy’s well worth a look. This would put into perspective the suggestion from brain surgeons like me that Kuyt could still do a job.

Voetball Internatonal are saying, ‘The management of the 21-year old striker from FC Twente last week had an interview with Daniel Levy, the chairman of the London club.’

De Jong’s agent Louis Laros neither confirms nor denies negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur. Bless.

“I will not go into names of clubs.

Anything under €8M for the boy will do me. Thanks very much.

I think Liverpool have made a great decision getting Rodgers, I think he’ll make them a force to be reckoned with, along as he gets financial backing and they don’t expect him to turn caroll, henderson et al in to barca in a season…. I kinds wished we’d have got him after another season in the top flight. Hope lambert doesnt go villa; he may be a good shout at some point…

Alternatively, they could finish mid-table and sack him after X months… ;)

Pressure will be on Rodgers to get Liverpool back near the top, how will the players respond to the new Gaffer? If they quit on him like they did on Old Uncle Roy the Kop will turn on him and it will be another budding career ruined. If Pool fail with this one they will be a no go zone for any decent manager with half a brain and a desire to continue to coach at a high level

  • The Kop were no match for the drunken welshmen singing Men or Harlech.

It will sound like a morgue there and enother manager will bite the dust on the plains of Anfield

    • This is wishful thinking at its worst.

And why not…. every team is strengthening now. Fair rules will kick in eventually in 2565 or so.
There is no choice but to mentally destroy the opposition by imagining their downfall.Think it and it will happen is my motto.
In Liverpools case a Giant Swansean Dragon will fall from the sky and onto the Liverpool forward line and you can just see Suarez writhing in agony and looking at the ref like it wasnt him.

Pure joy watching Sandro play for Brazil, top, top player, triffic.

Best get that ITK up on a thread if its going to happen; predicions are a bit less awe-inspriring after the prediction date.

For me I can’t see ‘arry being turfed out; for all the wishes were fishes, we’d seriously need a strong already established manager in to replace him. The talk of most of the lightweights mooted is absurd and frankly I hold out no great hope for the Bin Dippers, with the yanks being led by the nose by the British press…more fool them.

However I would expect to see Vertonghen unveiled soon.

I’ve just ordered a Spurs away shirt circa 1948 from Amazon. My wife thinks I’m insane. She’s going to think I’m even more insane when I’m wearing it round the house.
