Evenin’ all.
On the 15th of July Torbay Police are playing a Spurs Legends XI and this Torbay firm are looking for an eleventh man to play on the side of the boys in blue, who actually play in black and yellow.
The Gentleman Jim Charity Cup takes place at 2pm on Sunday, July 15 at the Devon County FA ground in Newton Abbot. Tickets to watch are only £3.
To enter, email james.stock@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk with your bid, name, address, telephone number and date of birth. The latest bid will be displayed on the team website www.torbaypolicefc.co.uk. The closing date for bids is Friday 29 June.
The highest bid at time of writing is is £250. So this is a unique opportunity to bung a copper, no questions asked.
The game will last no more than 30 minutes and as well as facing some Tottenham heroes of yesteryear on the pitch, you get to enjoy a post match meal with them too!

He wanted out, now he wants us to back him?
Apparently last season’s campaign was impressive. What was most impressive for me was how he led us to choke up a CL place.
I have two immediate observations about that article:
1. It’s in The Mirror (Daily Fail are running the same story)
2. Not a single quote. Doesn’t even cite an “inside source”.
i see this aswell but unless levy has got someone already lined up i can’t see him letting harry go! we need a manager that plays good passing football and there are not many out there we have already let one join the scousers
Is that Middle East club Man City?
I wish it was June 1960 again.
I agree!
But dont lose the dream!
