Goodbye & Good Riddance

Good evening.

The word from nigh on 327+ sources this evening is that Arry ‘feel good’ Redschnapps has been vomited out of White Hart Lane.

There was this kid I grew up with; he was younger than me. Sorta looked up to me, you know. We did our first work together, worked our way out of the street. Things were good, we made the most of it. During Prohibition, we ran molasses into Canada… made a fortune, your father, too. As much as anyone, I loved him and trusted him.

Later on he had an idea to build a city out of a desert stop-over for GI’s on the way to the West Coast. That kid’s name was Moe Greene, and the city he invented was Las Vegas. This was a great man, a man of vision and guts. And there isn’t even a plaque, or a signpost or a statue of him in that town! Someone put a bullet through his eye.

No one knows who gave the order. When I heard it, I wasn’t angry; I knew Moe, I knew he was head-strong, talking loud, saying stupid things. So when he turned up dead, I let it go. And I said to myself, this is the business we’ve chosen; I didn’t ask who gave the order, because it had nothing to do with business!

    Hahahahahaaaa you dim spuds!!

We will be laughing at you next season when u are fighting relegation!

Short memories, fickle fans are the reasons u are a and will always remain a small club, shooting above ur own weight as it is

I’ll for one will be celebrating when u carelessly sack ur best manager in 25 years and hire a nobody who will be sacked once u have been relegated!!!

In terms of tactics, personality, coaching strategies, transfer activity and on field success he is far from our most successful manager in the last 25 years. Harry is a typical one in a hundred type of managers who got lucky to work with the squad he have had since he came to Spurs.

Why we have remained a smaller club then our reputation is because we have signed short term fixes, not looked for the long term and not been able to attract the very best due to shortage of cash. Not that we dont spend but we dont spend enough for the very best. And there is no long term stability in resigning a 65-year old with no winning record, heart condition, who gets easy distracted once his name pops up in the papers, and it always does.

Nah, sack him and sign some one who cares more about planning for the next game/season rather then take every chance he got to fill his Sunday column with drivel or appear as an expert in TV.

Got to love the way that so many are taking everything they read in the press or on the interweb as fact! Do you all really know what contract Harry was reportedly offered prior to the England job going to Roy? Or indeed what contract, if any he is being offered now?
Do you really blame him for wanting the England gig?
Did we play that badly through our bad patch?

I remember it differently. During our bad patch we were robbed a few goals by poor ref/linesman decisions. Our players missed gilt edged chances. We had injuries to key players. Harry made a couple of tactical errors but lady luck played the bigger part!

I’d be happy enough for the manager who has put us up with the elite to stay on for another year or two. Just make him shut the hell up!!!

Oh and for those of you who heap praise on Jose ‘special juan’ Mourinho and would like him as our manager yet slate Harry for being a crook etc you need to get checked out. Jose is a nasty stain on football that I wouldn’t want near my beloved Spurs regardless of the success he might bring.

    COYS!

Goodbye and good riddance ? I’m not his biggest fan, but that’s a bollocks headline. Show some class, and perhaps a bit of respect, you’re not as clever as you think you are.
